Whenever things are becoming overwhelming or worrisome, I listen to a song that has the following in its lyrics “ሁሉም አልፎ ዛሬ ቆሜ ካንተ የተነሳ እዚህ አለሁ ስለነገ እንዴት እፈራለሁ ህይወቴ በእጅህ ነው” Just looking back to where I was 5 years ago helps me see how far I have come and add on top of it how far I’ll go.

Uk what the hardest thing was? Knowing smtg amazing is coming but you can’t say anything 🤐. Anyways this is so cool Babi. Can’t wait to experiment on this.

🥁🥁🥁🥁 I am collaborating with a few of my friends who work in top tech companies (Amazon, Bloomberg and others ) and high paying remote jobs to provide a 4-5 sessions that will focus on resume polishing, HR interviews, system design interviews and mock leetcode sessions. And the team will be selected from the CodeLeague participant team 🥁🥁🥁🥁. If anyone registered here, well we’ll meet ig 😅. Good Luck everyone 🙌.

It’s 10:30 and I’m already feeling asleep 😭…..we have an announcement today.

This feels like ye anbesa bira mastawekiya if anyone remembers it. I’m dying to know what the end announcement is 😁.

I can’t wait for this announcement to come 🤐🤐🤐.

Per your request @bakacodes

Hi Everyone, This is Mr. O from London. I am a junior software developer at a company called Y. It’s been almost 2 years since I graduated. Things I loved to do 1. Playing football 2. Hiking 3. Travelling and going out (sometimes) 4. Music Why this channel? I feel like I have a bit to offer specially when it comes to the non-technical aspects of development. More specifically about resumes, communication skills, networking and bla bla and also a bit of peer pressure (not gonna call names here 🤣). It’s been a while since I wrote about those tbh though 🤦‍♂️. Anyways about me, born and raised in Ethiopia (though most ppl don’t believe me 😂). Studied SWE in Uni for about 5 yrs. Worked as a product manager and backend for about a year I would say. This is a place where I write my story times, mistakes I made or advice I got from my boss and boss’s boss, or some unhinged random thoughts and so on. Thank you for being here y’all. There is a surprise coming soon. And I hope you’ll enjoy it. Best, Mr. O (Corporate email habits 😂)

I’ll do a bit of introductions about myself later for the new folks we have here 😊.

So here is the total cost breakdown. 1. Train + Hotel + Food and other miscellaneous costs in Scotland costs around ~ £530 (112823 birr) 2. If you include flight from Ethiopia it is around ~ £890 (189,457) Total of ~ £1420 (302,280) N.B 1. This doesn’t include visa related costs that could go up to £600 2. This currency conversion is from google currency exchange and finding the pound with that quantity is going to be a pain in the …….

His platform, Ivy, is a compressed AI model (under 260MB) that runs on Android devices without an internet connection.
