Max von Millenkovich, an Austrian of Serbian descent, was a member of the NSDAP, the Kampfbund für deutsche Kultur, and the Reichsverband Deutscher Schriftsteller. He also served as an editor of the Völkischer Beobachter and was a recipient of the Goethe Medal for Art and Science.
"Millenkovich can look back on a rich life’s work as a writer, art critic, and lecturer. From the enclosed list, the part of his journalistic work published in book form can be seen. Furthermore, he has long been active as a cultural correspondent for the Völkischer Beobachter in Munich, as well as for numerous daily newspapers and magazines, and has also traveled throughout the Reich as a popular speaker."
