It's okay to criticize the government, the economy, security, or whatever is going wrong. But saying you hate your country is different. A country is not the government. It's the people, the culture, the history, the places, and the memories. Ethiopia is different, man. I've never seen weather and experiences like this. When you go to different regions, everything changes. Different cultures, different foods, different traditions, different ways of life. That's what makes it beautiful.
People can disagree on a lot of things, but I don't think we should say we hate our country. We can want change and still love where we come from. Division isn't good. The differences are actually what make us special. When different people come together, they create something beautiful.
Our generation should focus on building, not hating. We can criticize what needs to be fixed while still loving our people, our culture, and our country. 🇪🇹❤️
