| 19 |  18-year-old Yusuf Shah, from Ilford, London, has been convicted of multiple terrorism offenses after offering cybersecurity support to Al Qaeda and Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Counter Terrorism Police found Shah had been radicalized online from the age of 13, openly supporting terrorist groups before using his technical skills to help them evade detection. He advised extremists on anonymous cryptocurrency donations, produced a cybersecurity guide for the Pakistani Taliban, and shared methods to conceal terrorist activities online.
Investigators also found he had downloaded Al Qaeda manuals containing instructions on making explosives, explosive devices, and using various weapons. One $1,376.51 cryptocurrency donation to Al Qaeda was made using the methods Shah had recommended.
After a five-week trial at Kingston Crown Court, Shah was convicted of financing terrorism, providing training for terrorism, and collecting terrorist materials. He will be sentenced on 16 September.
