I never believed in the idea of interlinked souls until I started having conversations with different people. Honestly, I had never even thought about it before.
I used to think that people became close just because they talked a lot. But I realized it’s not that simple. There are over 8 billion people in the world, and everyone has their own interests, values, principles, and priorities. When you meet someone whose way of thinking is similar to yours, conversations just happen naturally. You understand each other better, and it’s much easier to build a real connection.
About a month ago, I met a few new people. We were traveling together, so we had plenty of time to talk. That’s when I realized that if your worldview and priorities don’t match, no matter how much you try, you probably won’t truly click. Even if that person seems perfect.
I also realized how important it is to know your own principles and priorities. The clearer they are, the easier it is to recognize the people you genuinely connect with.
The most interesting part is that we don’t really choose who we like. Most of the time, we’re naturally drawn to people whose values and priorities are similar to ours. Those are the people you want to keep talking to and spending time with.
Sometimes, even one random conversation with someone who interlinked you can turn into a memory you’ll never forget.

Find a man with imaan?
No!
A man with imaan will find you.
You’re a Muslimah, not Dora the explorer!

your hands have to be empty before they can hold anything new. maybe that’s why life keeps asking you to let go.
