How to start a fire using an apple and an empty lighter

Making a drop spindle is really easy and fun!!! One can also customize it if one wants to with stickers and such (if the cds are shiny side up….) Apologies if the instructions are not clear….this is my first time making a video like this…..I’ve linked where I got the instructions to do this spindle…yeah you can tell I simplified it a little bit.

Animal Farm. An excellent lesson for children.

Should be spice formulas not food formulas but still gets the point across that making one’s own seasonings is pretty simple and fun!!

So we dug up our sweet potatoes that we planted earlier this year. It had rained late last week so the ground was softer than usual(as well as being very sticky as we have a lot of clay around here). There were a few butterflies around the flowers and we met a couple moles who were hunting for worms. There were some big worms…..I didn’t get a pic of those…oops!!!
