W harsh reality of life is that no identity, achievement, or strength grants immunity from emptiness. There are moments when the mind goes quiet not in peace, but in exhaustion; when hope doesn’t disappear loudly, it simply stops responding.
Feeling numb is not weakness.
It is often the body and soul asking for pause, not for surrender.
And you’re right -this is exactly where light is needed the most.
Not the blinding, motivational kind.
But a small, steady light that says:
You are still here.
This moment is not the final verdict.
Even numbness is a form of survival.
Sometimes light doesn’t arrive as joy.
Sometimes it arrives as endurance.
As breathing one more day.
As choosing not to conclude your story during its darkest paragraph.
