Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli, may Allah preserve him, said:
سعدت وشرفت قبل قليل بزيارة الشيخ الفاضل أبي عبدالله محمد سعيد رسلان لي في بيتي،
I was pleased and honoured just a little while ago by the visit of the virtuous Shaykh Abū ʿAbdillāh Muḥammad Saʿīd Raslān to me in my house,
وامتلأ قلبي سرورًا برؤيته والحديث معه،
and my heart was filled with joy at seeing him and speaking with him.
اسأل الله أن يجمع قلوب أهل السنة جميعًا على ما يرضيه ويجعلهم متعاونين على البر والتقوى.
I ask Allah to unite the hearts of all Ahl al-Sunnah upon that which pleases Him and to make them cooperative upon righteousness and piety.

قال الشيخ سليمان الرحيلي حفظه الله
Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli – may Allah preserve him – said:
إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون
Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return.
توفي الإمام العلامة جليس القرآن الذي كان يختم القرآن في كل ثلاثة أيام سماحة الشيخ عبدالعزيز آل الشيخ مفتي عام المملكة العربية السعودية،
The eminent Imām, the great scholar, the companion of the Qur’an—who used to complete the Qur’an every three days—His Eminence Shaykh ʿAbdul-ʿAzīz Āl ash-Shaykh, the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has passed away.
أسأل الله أن يغفر له ويرحمه ويجعله منعما في قبره، ويكرمه بمرافقة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في الفردوس الأعلى من الجنة، وأن يعظم أجر أهله وذويه وولاة أمرنا وعلمائنا وطلاب العلم وجميع المسلمين.
I ask Allah to forgive him, have mercy on him, make him in bliss in his grave, honour him with accompanying the Prophet ﷺ in al-Firdaws al-Aʿlā of Paradise, and to magnify the reward of his family, relatives, our rulers, our scholars, the students of knowledge, and all the Muslims.
وسنصلي عليه صلاة الغائب بعد عصر اليوم الثلاثاء في مسجد قباء.
And we will pray the funeral prayer in absentia for him after ʿAsr today, Tuesday, in Masjid Qubāʾ.

قال الشيخ سليمان الرحيلي حفظه الله
Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli, may Allah preserve him, said:
شمروا عن سواعد الجد وانشروا العلم النافع – العلم السلفي الصافي والعلم القائم على الدليل – في مختلف الوسائل وزاحموا أهل الأهواء والشر،
Roll up the sleeves of seriousness and spread the beneficial knowledge—the pure Salafī knowledge and the knowledge based upon evidence—through various means, and crowd out the people of desires and evil,
فوالله إن العلم شجرة كل خير، وحاجز عن كل شر، وإن الجهل شجرة كل شر، وقائد إلى كل شر.
for by Allah, knowledge is the tree of every good and a barrier against every evil, while ignorance is the tree of every evil and a leader to every evil.
قال الإمام مالك رحمه الله: (إن أقوامًا ابتغوا العبادة وأضاعوا العلم، فخرجوا على أمة محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم بأسيافهم، ولو ابتغوا العلم لحجزهم عن ذلك).
Imām Mālik – may Allah have mercy on him – said: “Indeed, a people sought worship and neglected knowledge, so they went out against the ummah of Muḥammad ﷺ with their swords, but if they had sought knowledge, it would have prevented them from that.”

🔹 All praise is due to Allah who clarified the truth from falsehood and distinguished tawḥīd from shirk.
Among the most important and serious writings in this regard is the treatise of Shaykh al-Islām Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb, The Nullifiers of Islām. Though concise in its wording, it is decisive in its meaning — a text that warns with clarity against the acts and beliefs that invalidate one’s Islām, matters upon which rests salvation or destruction.
💡 In this blessed work, His Eminence Shaykh Sulaymān ar-Ruḥaylī explains with clarity and precision each of the nullifiers, grounding them in the Qur’an, the Sunnah, and the understanding of the Salaf, while exposing the false doubts of the misguided and the people of innovation.
His explanation is a fortress for the Muslim — protecting his tawḥīd, sharpening his understanding, and awakening his heart to the dangers that can expel a person from Islām.
🛡 In an age where doubts are spread swiftly and compromise with falsehood is beautified, this book is a shield for the Muslim’s creed, a weapon against shirk and innovation, and a reminder of the weight of lā ilāha illa Allah.

Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli, may Allah preserve him, said:
الحمد لله اللطيف الودود الذي سلم لي رأسي وعمودي الفقري، ثم جبر ما انكسر من عظامي وأزال أسقامي.
All praise is due to Allah, the Gentle, the Loving, who preserved for me my head and my spine, then mended what was broken of my bones, and removed my ailments.
بإذن الله سأعود إلى دروسي في مسجد قباء والمسجد النبوي الشريف حسب الجدول المعتاد ابتداء من الأول من شهر ربيع الثاني.
By the permission of Allah, I will return to my lessons in Masjid Qubāʾ and in al-Masjid an-Nabawī al-Sharīf according to the usual schedule, beginning from the first of the month of Rabīʿ al-Thānī.

Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhayli, may Allah preserve him, said:
إذا كنا في مدينة فيها غيوم تحول بيننا وبين رؤية القمر فلم نر الخسوف فهل نصلي؟
If we are in a city where there are clouds that block us from seeing the moon, so we did not see the eclipse, do we pray?
والجواب: صلاة الخسوف منوطة برؤيته لا بالمعرفة الفلكية،
And the answer: the eclipse prayer is connected to its sighting, not to astronomical knowledge,
فإذا لم يُر الخسوف في المدينة بالكلية فلا تُصلى صلاة الخسوف.
so if the eclipse is not seen in the city at all, then the eclipse prayer is not to be prayed.
