Russian forces again struck the Azerbaijani SOCAR oil depot near Odesa, damaging all 17 storage tanks, the pumping station, and other facilities holding over 16,000 tons of fuel. Azerbaijani officials condemned the attack as a deliberate strike on civilian infrastructure, noting it follows a similar drone assault on August 8. At that time, Azerbaijani media warned that continued Russian attacks on Azerbaijan-linked energy sites in Ukraine could prompt Baku to reconsider its arms embargo on Ukraine. #hm #hmintelligence

Protests in Serbia last night were relatively restrained, though tensions were evident. In Valjevo, police set up checkpoints with long-barrel rifles ahead of planned mass demonstrations following recent incidents of police brutality. In Belgrade, undercover officers reportedly pulled guns on protesters before retreating, while riot police responded with tear gas. A major party office was burned, windows at the prosecutor’s office were smashed, and arrests remained limited. Additional deployments of IJT and the Gendarmerie were reported in New Belgrade, where they attempted to suppress demonstrations alongside undercover units. Weapons observed included Zastava M70s and M05s, and there was also a single improvised explosive device, likely made from a deodorant can. #hm #hmintelligence

The Syzran oil refinery in Russia’s Samara region, one of the largest in the Rosneft system and a key supplier of fuels including aviation fuel to the Russian armed forces, was heavily damaged after at least 10 UAVs struck the facility, located about 800 km from the frontline. Videos show massive fires at the site, which produces roughly 8.9 million tonnes of oil products annually and is under international sanctions. #hm #hmintelligence
