The Ukrainian Armed Forces are carrying out a large-scale missile and drone assault on occupied Donetsk and Makiivka, employing LR-FPVs, jet FPVs, and Palianytsia missiles in an effort to disrupt Russian troop concentrations in the Donbas ahead of a planned offensive. So what This Russian offensive has been widely reported and it is likely Ukraine is currently using western intelligence to target troop build ups, key equipment and supplies. China has developed an AI-controlled missile production line capable of producing over 100 missiles per day with minimal human involvement beyond inspections. Similar automated systems are already widely used in the manufacturing of fighter jets, hypersonic missiles, drones, cars, and iPhones. European intelligence services have dismantled a Belarusian KGB spy network operating across the continent, led by the Czech Security Information Service (BIS) in cooperation with Romania and Hungary. The Czech Foreign Ministry expelled a Belarusian intelligence officer working under diplomatic cover, while investigations revealed the network was organized to recruit agents and gather classified information. Among those implicated was a former deputy head of Moldovan intelligence accused of passing secrets to Belarusian operatives. So what This is a significant network to have uncovered and one that likely provided intelligence to Russia. Russia launched its biggest air assault of the war on Ukraine, striking central Kyiv and hitting the main government building for the first time with over 800 drones. President Zelenskiy condemned the attack as a “deliberate crime” and urged allies to provide stronger air defense systems to protect cities and civilians. So what It is likely that Russia has increased its drone production to the point of being able to sustain a high volume of drones attacks against Ukraine. The difficulty is that such high volumes are highly likely to overwhelm Ukrainian air defence and cause significant damage. Comment The PLAAF Y-20A is a large military transport aircraft designed to carry troops, heavy equipment, and supplies over long distances. It is generally used for strategic airlift missions, humanitarian aid, and disaster relief operations. So what It is likely that these aircraft were delivering critical equipment or personnel to Moscow, possibly air defence assets to defend the capital. Ukrainian long-range FPV drones have been targeting Russian air defense systems in occupied Crimea, with recent footage showing one drone pursuing and striking a moving Nebo-M 55Zh6M radar, and a separate double strike—likely one miss and one hit—damaging a 48Ya6-K1 “Podlet K1” radar. So what This equipment is critical for Russian air defence and is likely very difficult to replace due to sanctions. It is likely that every time one is destroyed or damaged that Russias air defence becomes a little bit worse, allowing Ukraine to more easily hit high value locations such as oil refineries. #hm #hmintelligence

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported on a substantive meeting with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, where they discussed Ukraine’s security, European stability, and bilateral cooperation. Zelensky briefed Fico on his recent talks with former U.S. President Trump and ongoing efforts with allied leaders to secure peace. They agreed that Russian oil and gas have no future in Europe, stressing the importance of energy independence. Slovakia reaffirmed its support for Ukraine’s EU accession, alongside Moldova, and both leaders emphasized strengthening regional cooperation in economic, energy, and infrastructure sectors. So what This is basically a 180 degree swing from Fico, and to say I'm suspicious is an understatement. While it is possible that he may have seen the light during his recent visit to China, it is also possible he has ulterior motives for this swing.
