Life updatessss btw 1) Updated my LinkedIn with adding my experience in ISSAI I need LinkedIn max ASFFF I’m still grieving my previous account that had 700+ connections, but i can’t change unfortunately the past and rn I only have 192 connections 🥲 👀👀if you are not connected with me, maybe you can change your mind 2) Bought tickets to the UAE and getting ready for my uni life! Скоро возможно откроется NYU-Tokyo 🟣 🇺🇸 🇯🇵 Губернатор Токио подписала соглашение с NYU, чтобы рассмотреть вопрос открытия полноценного кампуса в одном из районов Токио. Если это произойдет, то NYUAD и NYUSH в будущем пополнит ~NYUTO. Это не будет обычный Study Abroad Office как в Париже или Мадриде, а полноценный degree-granting institution как NYUAD. Attention Class of 2028! I am Azhar Aitpek, a Full Merit Scholarship student at Northwestern University in Qatar and a proud Astana Qyz BIL graduate of 2025. To support BIL students from all over Kazakhstan to get into top universities abroad, I am launching a free (yes, no payment needed) mentorship programme for current Bilim Innovation Foundation 10th graders. This opportunity is available only to BIL students to support them in their application journey to the US, Hong Kong and West Asia (UAE, Qatar, etc). To briefly let you know my high school journey: Northwestern’29 (First Merit Scholarship from KZ), Vogue Summer School NYC’24 (First in Central Asia), Pioneer Academics’24, Altyn Belgi’25, English Olympiad KBO & Respa winner 2021-2024, etc. In two years of my college counselling experience, I noticed that many students mostly struggle with essays and their mindsets towards university applications and their future in general. Following that, the main focus of this mentorship will be on the personal statements and supplemental essays. Undoubtedly, members of the admission team, who are former BIL students and current top university students, will share advice on SAT & IELTS. However, the main scope will still be pointed towards the most underrated and delayed part of the application - writing. Over the course of 3 months, this mentorship will prepare current 10th grade Bilim Innovation Foundation students to be strong applicants with mentors and guest speakers studying in the US, Hong Kong and West Asia. Even if you are not sure, we still encourage you to apply, because I myself did not plan to apply to the US university in 10th grade, but one application to a mentorship for studying abroad changed my academic direction in a totally unexpected way.
