FREEDOM! Mona Abu Hussein, Palestinian teacher, student and mother, released after 10 months in zionist administrative detention Mona Ahmad Abu Hussein (Barghouti), 47, is a kindergaten director, a master’s student and a mother, from Aabod village near Ramallah. She was abducted by the Zionist occupation forces on 8 January 2026 and has been held since then in administrative detention, without charge or trial. She is the wife of Ahmad and the mother of six children, Hammam, Adham, Afnan, Anfal, Ansar, and Ithar. Her eldest son Hammam, was arrested by the occupation alongside her, but released two days later. Previously, in 2022, her son Hammam was arrested by the “Palestinian Authority” security – in “security coordination” with the occupation – to coerce her to surrender to them. She was previously imprisoned under administrative detention from March 2024 through January 2025, when she was liberated in the Toufan al-Ahrar prisoner exchange conducted by the Palestinian resistance. During her imprisonment, she met with Palestinian lawyer Hassan Abbadi, and conveyed the difficulty of life in the cells and under harsh repression, saying: “The situation here is extremely difficult. Everything is locked down. Speaking between cells is forbidden; there is no contact with anyone outside your own cell.” Congratulations to Mona on her liberation – and may we soon celebrate the liberation of all imprisoned Palestinians, and the liberation of Palestine.

Just ten days after z1onist forces raided Birzeit University as students sat for their final exams, the occupation has again invaded and attacked Birzeit. In a shameful escalation of the occupation’s violent depravity, yesterday’s raid ended with the arrest of a student and the demolition and looting of BZU’s Martyrs’ Memorial. Our organizations call on all students, youth, and organizations to ‼️SIGN ONTO AND REPOST THIS STATEMENT tinyurl.com/bzuoct4 ‼️🔻‼️RECREATE THE MARTYRS’ MEMORIAL AT YOUR SCHOOL‼️🔻‼️ - for example by using a whiteboard, chalk, or poster (see slide 7) - names can be found at the l1nk listed above

On September 22, the collaborating forces of the "Palestinian Authority," engaged in "security coordination" with the occupation, abducted Palestinian student Islam Tubasi, 2 days before he was to return to school. His studies had been interrupted for 4 years due to imprisonment by the "Israeli" occupation. His case, like so many others, illustrates the "revolving door" of PA and Zionist imprisonment under one security apparatus. Freedom for all Palestinian prisoners in Zionist, imperialist and PA jails!

On Monday, 28 September, the Zionist occupation extended the "administrative detention," arbitrary imprisonment without charge or trial, of An-Najah University engineering student Omar al-Ashqar. He has already been arbitrarily imprisoned for the past 12 months. There are over 3,600 Palestinian prisoners — out of a total of approximately 9,300 — jailed with no charge and no trial under arbitrary administrative detention, which can be indefinitely renewed in blocks of up to six months at a time. Many Palestinian prisoners, like Omar, are jailed for years under repeatedly renewed detention orders. Free Omar al-Ashqar and all Palestinian students!

Omar Mohammed Tubasi (20) was martyred by settler gunfire in his town of Hajjah in the northern West Bank. He was a student at An-Najah National University studying dentistry, a member of the Islamic Bloc, a Quran memorizer, and a fighter. He was widely loved for his good nature and known for his academic achievement and religious commitment. Under the protection of the zionist army, settlers killed Omar while he heroically confronted their invasion and vandalization of Palestinian land and houses. They also shot and wounded two Palestinians, one critically. May God have mercy on the martyr Omar Mohammed Tubasi. We offer our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and peers.

The Free Lebanese Prisoners Campaign denounces in the strongest possible terms the ruthless campaign of state repression and+9
The Free Lebanese Prisoners Campaign denounces in the strongest possible terms the ruthless campaign of state repression and Islamophobic persecution against Mohamad Hamad, a 24-year-old Lebanese-American activist and former student at Penn State University. We stand in unlimited support of Mohamad and demand his immediate release and the dropping of all charges against him. For over a year now Mohamad has been detained in a federal prison, without a conviction, without a trial date, on the basis of baseless charges of conspiracy and damaging zionist property, and he is threatened with up to 35 years in prison if convicted in the ongoing federal prosecution. He is the victim of one of the most disturbing cases of repression against the Palestine movement in the United States since 2023. In November 2024, Mohamad and a Jewish anti-zionist activist were arrested for allegedly spray-painting anti-genocide graffiti. Police carried out another violent raid on his parents' home in April 2025 and then added a new charge that could put him behind bars for decades. Mohamad was confronted with drones and helicopters equipped with thermal imaging cameras that followed him, illegal raids and searches on his house, undercover agents who shadowed his every step and more. He writes: “That show of force was a message to every Arab and Muslim living in America: you will never be safe here, and if you ever decide to speak out about your oppression and go against the grain, you will be dealt with and made an example to all.” The case of Mohamad Hamad is part of a broader imperialist strategy to crush resistance, from U.S. sanctions against Palestinian and Palestine solidarity organizations and individuals to the zionist prisons where Lebanese and Palestinian political prisoners are currently being held without a fair trial, subjected to torture and collective punishment. We must respond to repression with loud voices of escalating resistance. We demand the immediate and unconditional release of Mohamad Hamad and all political prisoners for Palestine in U.S., zionist, imperialist and reactionary prisons.

Birzeit University student Amr Abu Zeid was arrested by occupation forces on September 3 after being ordered to turn himself in. Abu Zeid presented himself at the entrance to Ofer, west of Ramallah, where he was taken into custody. He was previously arrested on February 21, 2025, during a raid by occupation forces on his family’s home in the al-Masayef neighborhood of Ramallah. During the raid, members of the Abu Zeid family were detained inside the home. Amr was released later that day in poor physical condition after being beaten by zionist forces while in custody. Amr Abu Zeid is the brother of freed prisoner Saleh Abu Zeid, the former general coordinator of Fatah’s Shabiba student movement at Birzeit University. Saleh Abu Zeid has been arrested and imprisoned by zionist forces on multiple occasions. The Abu Zeid family has faced repeated arrests by zionist forces in recent years.

Free The Brothers Yahya Al-Qouqa and Mohammed Al-Qouqa Freed prisoners and engineering students at An-Najah University arrested by the occupation On April 12th, 2026, occupation forces rearrested Yahya Amin al-Qouqa from his home in Nablus. Before this, Yahya was detained by the Palestinian Authority for 15 days in an arrest campaign targeting students at Al-Najah University, and was released on May 5th, 2025. Earlier on June 9th, 2023, Yahya was detained as he was walking, by a vehicle driving by with masked men who violently took him to be held by the Palestinian Authority for 5 days. Yahya is an Engineering and Information Technology student at Al-Najah University. On May 6th, 2026, occupation forces rearrested Mohammed Amin al-Qouqa after he was released 6 months earlier. During the arrest they stormed and raided his home in Nablus. Mohammed is an Engineering student at An-Najah University who was previously arrested and imprisoned on October 3, 2023. Mohammed and Yahya are the sons of Amin Khaled al-Qouqa who was arrested by the collaborating Palestinian Authority in 2007. The Qassam fighter was sentenced to life imprisonment for his resistance against the colonizer. He has suffered 19 years in the PA's al-Junaid prison in Nablus. During his long political detention, his health detoriorated and he experienced high blood pressure, heart rhythm disorder, and poor vision. One of the longest-held prisoners by the collaborating Authority, Amin faces harsh conditions, solitary confinement, and medical neglect. In 2023, Amin heroically escaped the prison! Following his reabduction, he began an open-ended hunger strike that lasted 9 days. On April 22nd, 2023, following Amin Al-Qouqa's escape from prison, PA forces raided and stormed the Al-Qouqa family home. They arrested four family members including the brothers Yahya and Mohammed, targeting Amin's family to force him to turn himself in. Yahya wrote this about his father after 13 years of Amin's imprisonment: O God, guard him with Your eye that never sleeps. O God, keep affliction and misery far from him. O God, grant him joy. O God, bring relief... bring the moment closer... grant him respite... There is no one like my father Free Amin, Yahya, and Mohammed Al-Qouqa! Free all Palestinian prisoners!
