I think vibe coding is good if you have knowledge of what you're doing. For those who come and do stuff without any experience, that's totally a waste of time and tokens. They might get successful at what they are doing, but it won't last long. Vibe coding with the necessary knowledge, not just the basics, but deeper knowledge, is the perfect choice. I can't see any threat in this; it just makes your job faster. Again, for those who vibe code with what they call "basics," it's just a waste of tokens and time. About the concern you raised, I don't think it is concerning, because we know what the bottlenecks of AI are. So I don't think so.

I don't think love for coding comes only with experience, there are some ppl naturally gifted. Anybody can choose AI major, I don't think prior knowledge or passion is needed at all. I learned from my experience, so people can do it. Yes there are foundational concepts like the keywords won't change, but and most of the knowledges can become outdated. Everyone should keep himself updated. New technologies, new products are being released so keep yourself updated.
