| 15 | A few words on Pluto, the one I posted as a "Robinhood MARS" play.
At the time, I saw it as a beta play on MARS — something that could ride along as MARS moved.
MARS has played out exactly the way I mapped it from the start, and I'm still holding a large position. Today it got its spot listing, which was the biggest trigger I'd been waiting for. I was happy — not just about the money, but about seeing a thesis play out the way I'd called it.
Riding that high, I looked at Pluto, thought "hm, not bad," bought some, and shared it without much thought.
Looking at it with a clear head now, it's not an alpha play.
Anything built on "this reminds me of X" can't be alpha by definition. If it evokes something, it's following a pattern that already exists — and something launched on the back of an existing pattern is a beta play. I do take beta plays from time to time, but I've never shared them here. They're small side bets I make for fun while watching the market, not something worth putting in front of all of you.
That's why I deleted the post. Leaving it up meant anyone coming across it later would just see my name on it and blind-ape in on trust alone. I didn't want that.
Today I was riding the mood and got careless. That's on me.
