Imma start something new and a bit uncomfortable (cringe some may say). Imma call it Wholesome Fridays (Could be Wholesome Wednesdays but naur) So as I have glazed Jo (IOS "worshipper"😂) I shall glaze another (I belong to the streets) @bearly_learning has been one of the realest people I have ever met. Coming fresh out of an international high school and into Addis Ababa University was difficult. Everything from figuring out basic things to dealing with the massive cultural shock made me feel like an outsider. Yet regardless of all that, this man became my first friend and someone I genuinely appreciate a lot. He taught me not only to be confident, but also to be proud of who I am. We've matched each other's humor bar for bar, and honestly, I'm grateful to have him as a friend. Sometimes I think I don't deserve someone so kind in my life. It feels unreal at times, but I thank God for blessing me with someone who is never judgmental and who has been there through the highs and lows. I strive to be half the man he is because he possesses a quality that feels increasingly rare these days. Even after not seeing each other for almost four years, he welcomed me back with the exact same level of friendship, honestly probably even more now that I think about it 😂 Your mindset, your work ethic, and your drive to always improve never go unnoticed. No matter what comes your way, you always find a way to make the best of it. Your journey constantly inspires me to do better and to be kinder as well. So thank you for pushing me to be better, and most of all, for always supporting me, gang. Spent 8 hours today fixing a merge conflict (basically adding an old feature to a the latest version of the codebase). Call me a merging expert after this because gang I am broken. One file had 67 conflicts and I had to go line by line to make sure things didn't break (I don't trust codex for this at all😂) Give me a raise😂😂
