In this day and age of social media, where everyone has a platform and many speak about the religion of Allah without knowledge, we must be extremely cautious.
Speaking about the Deen without knowledge is not something to be taken lightly. Allah has warned us against speaking about Him without knowledge, and this is among the paths that Shaytan calls people towards.
Before we speak, share, or give an opinion about the religion, we should ask ourselves: Do I actually have knowledge of what I am saying?
The Deen is not a matter of personal opinion or something to speak about without knowledge we should fear Allah, verify what we share, and remain silent when we do not know and ask the people of knowledge the scholars.

| 7 | ❗️𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐧
✍️ Sh Muḥammad ibn Ṣāliḥ al-ʿUthaymīn [رحمه الله] said:
“The Hadīth of the Prophet ﷺ: ‘𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆: ‘𝗕𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁,’ 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗮̄𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸,’ indicates the importance of listening to the Friday sermon attentively. It shows that one should not be distracted by anything during the sermon.
In fact, the Prophet ﷺ told the person who entered while the imām was delivering the sermon: ‘𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗿𝗮𝗸‘𝗮𝗵𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳,’ meaning to shorten them, in order to listen to the Friday sermon.”
