Chevalier’s policies are centered around being pro-Palestinian, universal healthcare, stronger protections for renters, abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and banning big Pacs from elections. She also is known for having negative views on aid towards the Ukrainian war efforts.
Left leaning Jewish candidate Brad Landner, defeated the Conservative Jewish candidate Dan Goldman. Brad is a Mamdani ally who ran as a vocal critic of “corporate Democrats” and aid to Israel.
