| 2 | WHY IS GRAM NOT GOING UP?
I've been trying to understand this myself because there are a lot of different opinions about why GRAM is struggling.
I ignored the usual "this whale is dumping" type of posts and looked more at the actual supply, staking, unlocks, TON usage and the Telegram integration.
After looking through all of that, I think the answer is actually pretty simple:
There is currently more potential GRAM supply coming into the market than there is genuine demand to absorb it.
And I think that's the main reason we're not seeing GRAM move despite all the bullish TON news.

1. THE SUPPLY IS A BIG DEAL
GRAM currently has roughly 2.78B circulating supply against around 5.24B total supply.
What's more important is what's still coming.
The Believers Fund unlocks are releasing around 37M GRAM every month, which is roughly 444M GRAM per year.
That's a huge amount of additional supply compared with what's currently circulating.
And then there's another big event coming:
Around 1.08B GRAM from inactive/frozen whale wallets is expected to be released in February 2027.
So personally, I don't think the main question should be:
"Which wallet is selling?"
The bigger question is:
"Is there enough demand to absorb all the new GRAM entering the market?"
Right now, I don't think we've seen enough evidence of that.

2. STAKING IS GOOD, BUT THERE'S ANOTHER SIDE TO IT
The Catchain 2.0 upgrade increased staking rewards quite significantly.
TON Strategy received around 9.44M GRAM in Q2, with an annualised gross staking yield of roughly 17%.
Obviously, that's great if you're staking.
But from the price perspective, you have to look at both sides.
Higher staking rewards = more GRAM being distributed.
Some people will keep it or restake it, but some of it will eventually end up being sold.
So again, GRAM needs demand to grow faster than the amount of new tokens being created.

3. TELEGRAM'S 1 BILLION USERS DON'T MEAN 1 BILLION GRAM BUYERS
This is probably where I think people get carried away the most.
We keep hearing:
"Telegram has around 1 billion users, so TON is going to be massive."
And honestly, I agree that the potential is massive.
But there's a big difference between having access to 1 billion Telegram users and having 1 billion people actually buying and holding GRAM.
TON is deliberately extremely cheap to use.
Someone sending a few dollars through Telegram doesn't suddenly need hundreds or thousands of dollars worth of GRAM.
And that's actually one of TON's strengths.
But it also means TON can grow enormously without GRAM demand necessarily growing at the same rate.
That's the part I think the market is trying to figure out.

4. TON ISN'T DEAD — PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY USING IT
I don't buy the argument that nobody is using TON.
We're already looking at around 2.2M monthly active wallets and roughly 4M transactions per day.
That's real usage.
The problem is the amount of economic activity behind those transactions.
We're currently looking at roughly:
• ~$51M TVL
• ~$757M stablecoin market cap
• ~$5.9M daily DEX volume
• ~$3.6K daily chain fees
• ~$1.8K daily chain revenue
And when you compare those numbers with a multi-billion-dollar GRAM market cap, there's still a pretty big gap.
TON can process millions of transactions very cheaply, but that doesn't automatically create huge buying pressure for GRAM.

5. THIS IS WHERE THE TELEGRAM STORY GETS INTERESTING
For me, this is the most important part of the whole thing.
Telegram users are not the same as TON users.
TON users are not the same as GRAM buyers.
And TON transactions are not the same as GRAM demand.
What we need to see is Telegram users actually turning into:
TON wallets → payments → stablecoins → DeFi → apps → trading → real economic activity.
That's when the Telegram integration starts becoming much more important for GRAM's price.
The potential is obviously there.
We just haven't seen it fully translate into token demand yet.

6. THE MAY PUMP IS ALSO WORTH LOOKING AT
GRAM had a massive move in May following the major Telegram/TON developments.
It gained roughly 79% in one week.
And honestly, I can understand why.
The market basically looked at Telegram getting much more directly involved with TON and said:
"This could be huge."
I think that part of the thesis is still valid.
The problem is that the price moved much faster than the fundamentals could develop.
Once the initial hype cooled down, people started taking profits and the market went back to:
"Okay, where is the actual demand?"
And that's basically where we've been stuck.

7. SO AM I BEARISH ON GRAM?
No.
Actually, I'm quite interested in the long-term setup.
TON has some very strong advantages:
• Telegram integration
• Millions of active wallets
• Millions of daily transactions
• Very cheap transactions
• Very fast finality
• Growing stablecoin ecosystem
• Growing DeFi ecosystem
• Telegram becoming more directly involved
The infrastructure is there.
What isn't there yet is enough economic activity to justify the amount of supply coming into the market.
At least that's how I see it.

THE WAY I LOOK AT IT IS PRETTY SIMPLE
On one side you've got:
staking + unlocks + new supply + existing holders taking profits
On the other side you've got:
new buyers + new TON users + DeFi + payments + people holding/staking GRAM
Right now, I think the first side is still stronger.
That's why we can get another bullish Telegram announcement and still not see GRAM suddenly take off.

WHAT WOULD CHANGE MY MIND?
There are a few things I'd personally watch.
🟢 TON USERS
If monthly active wallets start going from ~2.2M to 5M, then 10M+, that's a completely different situation.
🟢 ECONOMIC ACTIVITY
I want to see DEX volume, stablecoins, payments, DeFi and app usage growing significantly.
Not just transaction numbers.
🟢 HOW THE MARKET ABSORBS THE UNLOCKS
This one is probably the biggest.
If tens of millions of GRAM keep entering circulation every month and the market absorbs it without the price getting destroyed, that's actually a very bullish signal.
It would mean there's finally enough demand to absorb the additional supply.

MY PERSONAL VIEW
I'm not bearish on TON.
If anything, I think the long-term opportunity is pretty interesting.
But I also don't think we should look at the Telegram user count and automatically assume:
"1 billion Telegram users = GRAM to $10."
It doesn't work like that.
The potential is massive, but now we need to see those users actually turn into TON users and real economic activity.
Until that happens, the supply side is going to keep putting pressure on the price.
The number I'd personally watch most is:
MONTHLY ACTIVE TON WALLETS
If we're still sitting around 2M while GRAM supply continues increasing, that's not great.
But if we start seeing:
2M → 3M → 5M → 10M
while stablecoins, DEX volume, payments and other activity are growing at the same time...
that's when I'd start getting seriously bullish.
So after looking at everything, I don't think GRAM's current price action can be explained by one whale, one company or one wallet.
I think it's much simpler:
The market is waiting for TON adoption to become big enough to absorb the supply.
And if TON actually manages to convert even a small percentage of Telegram's massive user base into real on-chain users, I think GRAM could move very quickly.
