From August 1, the EU banned the unlocking of the bootloaders of Android Smartphones!

New requirements aimed at strengthening cybersecurity entered into force. Manufacturers are now required according to the Equipment Directive (RED) 2014/53/EU: - block the installation unofficial software; - use Secure Boot; - Launch only signed firmware

What does this mean for ordinary users:

- unlocking the bootloader will become inaccessible to devices near the EU; -installation of custom firmware and ROOT access-more impossible; - Samsung has already been removed by Anglok option in Oneui 8; - Xiaomi, Google can also follow this trend
