#Reality check - not for the insincere ones 2027 aspirants, Attempt one FLT of any GS paper. The experience itself will make you aware and humble you , how much you are lagging behind in preparation. Writing 20 questions in 3 hours is such an advanced skill that you might feel Mt Everest ascent is an easy task comparatively. and in reality next year you have to write 2 such full lengths in one single day back to back. The body starts giving up by sunday morning , the third day of Mains schedule. By Ethics paper in afternoon , You are half dead, soul ready to leave the mortal body. If now by writing 2/3 questions playfully once in a blue moon makes you confident of your preparation status , God help You my child !! 🦋🦋🦋🦋

#LIFE LESSON #MATURITY
“Don’t take anything personally. Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.” – Don Miguel Ruiz
If you are living with people (family , siblings, friends , flatmates) and their sarcasm ,ridicule and taunts hurt you - remember "Your perception of me is a reflection of you, my reaction to you is an awareness of me" 🦋🦋🦋🦋

# Latin phrases that can be used in Essays 1. Veni, vidi, vici. — I came, I saw, I conquered. Famously attributed to Julius Caesar in a message he supposedly sent to the Roman Senate to describe his swift, conclusive victory against King Pharnaces II of Pontus near Zela in 47 BC. 2. Alea iacta est. — The die has been cast. Another Latin phrase said by Julius Caesar upon crossing the Rubicon to enter Italy and begin the long civil war against Pompey and the Optimates. The meaning of this phrase refers to the point of no return. 3. Carpe diem. — Seize the day. Probably the most popular Latin phrase of modern One can also remember the carpe noctem variation which literally translates to ‘seize the night’. Either way, the general meaning is to make the most of everything. 4. Cogito, ergo sum. — I think, therefore I am. A dictum coined by French philosopher René Descartes in Latin. 5. Et tu, Brute? — “And you, Brutus?” Or “You too, Brutus?”. This Latin quote appears in William Shakespeare's play “Julius Caesar” at the very moment of Caesar’s assassination. Upon recognizing his friend, Marcus Junius Brutus, as one of the assassins, Julius Caesar utters these last words. Nowadays, the phrase can be used jokingly to condemn a friend’s change of heart. 6. Ex nihilo nihil fit. — Nothing comes from nothing. Or so Lucretius said. Originally meaning “work is required to succeed”, the modern reinterpretation suggests that “everything has its origins in something”. 7.Audentes fortuna iuvat. — Fortune favors the bold. Supposedly Pliny the Elder’s last words before leaving the docks at Pompeii to rescue his friend Pomponianus from the eruption of Vesuvius in 79. The phrase also appears in Virgil’s Aeneid. 8.Memento vivere. — Remember to live. We all heard about memento mori (“remember that you [have to] die”), but apparently a more optimistic view over life also existed. 9.Amor vincit omnia. — Love conquers all. Famously attributed to the Latin poet Virgil, this popular Latin phrase is also the title of a painting by the Italian Baroque artist Caravaggio. 10.Sine qua non — Without which, not Something absolutely essential. A more clear translation could be ‘without (something), (something else) won’t be possible’. “Creativity is a sine qua non for writing novels.” USE THEM AS SUBHEADS or AS PHRASES in place of QUOTES , BE CREATIVE !!

This is not some random gyan. Being a mentor to many over the years, I have found many aspirants to be a version of "The Last man" - creatures of comfort. They don't want to push themselves to work or efforts , get caught up in excuses and addictions or frivolous activities. They plan and fail but not due to some external challenge but because they have actually planned to fail. If you can't be the UBERMENSCH - its okay , least try not to be the "THE LAST MAN"

#ESSAY CONTENT or MOTIVATIONAL POST - You decide !! The Last Man or the Übermensch? Nietzsche imagined two futures for humanity. One is comfortable. The other is extraordinary. The Last Man seeks comfort over challenge, certainty over curiosity, and security over growth. He avoids risk, celebrates mediocrity, and believes that the purpose of life is simply to be comfortable. He says, "We have invented happiness," and then stops striving. The Übermensch chooses a different path. He does not wait for perfect conditions. He creates meaning where none exists. He treats setbacks as raw material for growth. He competes not with others, but with yesterday's self. Every obstacle becomes an invitation to become stronger. The difference is not talent. It is orientation. The Last Man asks: "How little can I do and still be comfortable?" The Übermensch asks: "How much can I become?" The Last Man avoids uncertainty. The Übermensch transforms uncertainty into possibility. The Last Man seeks approval. The Übermensch seeks authenticity. The Last Man consumes life. The Übermensch creates life.
Every day presents a quiet choice. Not between success and failure. But between comfort and becoming.
The greatest danger is not that you fail to reach your highest potential. The greatest danger is that you stop believing there is a higher version of yourself waiting to be created. Choose becoming over comfort. Every single day ! 🦋🦋🦋🦋

#ESSAY “Content may be king, but context is god.” It means correct interpretation of essay topic is quite important more than the good content that You write. Marks are deducted if essay's demand is not met , if the ideas are not concise and relevant to topic . A philosophical essay doesnt give permission to write everything and anything under the sun. Interpret the topic in context of what its trying to convey and not what you want to write.

# Motivation Poem “Keep going” by Edgar Guest, When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, And the road you're trudging seems all uphill, When the funds are low and the debts are high, And you want to smile, but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit, Rest if you must, but don't you quit. Life is queer with its twists and turns, As every one of us sometimes learns. And many a failure turns about When he might have won had he stuck it out. Don't give up though the #pace seems slow, You may succeed with another blow. Often the goal is nearer than it seems To a faint and faltering man. Often the struggler has given up when he Might have captured the victor's cup, And he learned too late when the night slipped down, How close he was to the golden crown. Success is failure turned inside out, The silver tint of the clouds of doubt, And you never can tell how close you are. It may be near when it seems afar. So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit. It's when things seem worst that You mustn't quit. read this , write it and keep it on your study table

#Life Lessons “When you wake up in the morning, tell yourself: the people I deal with today will be meddling, ungrateful, arrogant, dishonest, jealous and surly. They are like this because they can’t tell good from evil. But I have seen the beauty of good, and the ugliness of evil, and have recognized that the wrongdoer has a nature related to my own – not of the same blood and birth, but the same mind, and possessing a share of the divine. And so none of them can hurt me. No one can implicate me in ugliness. Nor can I feel angry at my relative, or hate him. We were born to work together like feet, hands and eyes, like the two rows of teeth, upper and lower. To obstruct each other is unnatural. To feel anger at someone, to turn your back on him: these are unnatural.” ― Marcus Aurelius, Meditations

# Motivation
Out of your vulnerabilities will come your strength.
We crib n cry for being unlucky. Blame Situations people , destiny , luck for challenges we face. We feel unsupported , misguided and unloved , uncared for. But , thats the life lesson n the karmic debt. Out of all the challenges you face , therein lies your salvation. You have to change the disadvantage to your advantage. If indiscipline is your Achilles heel and roadblock to success, you have to develop fixed routine and be a slave to it. If health issues persist n stop you from being productive , thats where you need to accept and keep fighting for your goals . Fell sick for 2 days , get bk to study table on 3rd. If loneliness bothers you , turn that into solitude filled with wisdom.
Rumi quoted , “the wound is the place where the light enters you “
Thats your journey of salvation. You are not here to ‘be perfect’ but here to perfect that flaw which stops you from greatness. Be Jack of all trades and the Master of that one flaw. 🦋🦋🦋🦋

# Some terms to include in essay writing for brownie points Folklore terms that explore moral compromises, traps, and human ambition: I. A Faustian Bargain: Its classical definition refers to a pact where someone trades something of supreme moral and spiritual value to them, a core principle which defines their essential being, in return for power, knowledge, or wealth. The idea comes from the German legend of Johann Georg Faust who sold his soul to the devil for unlimited knowledge and worldly pleasures. This was for a fixed period and it is a tale that has inspired great literature from Christopher Marlowe’s play Doctor Faustus to Goethe’s drama Faust. In this bargain, Faust’s soul gets reclaimed by the devil for eternity when the contract expires. This is a hard bargain. In modern terms, this means a temporary benefit gained for the suspension, or suppression, of one’s conscience. The guilt of the compromise, however, does not go away. II. The Monkey’s Paw (The Trap of Unintended Consequences): A desire is granted, but it brings horrible, unforeseen side effects. Like a mathematical limit where x → ∞ equals disaster, getting exactly what you wish for ruins you. III. The Sorcerer's Apprentice (Losing Control): A student uses magic to do a chore faster. The magic gets out of control and multiplies. It warns about trying to control powerful tools without fully understanding the rules. IV. Hubris (Fatal Arrogance): A character thinks they can outsmart the gods or nature. It is the tragic flaw that causes them to fail. In math, it is like dividing by zero—an error that leads to a crash. V. Promethean Fire (The Burden of Knowledge): A character steals fire (knowledge or technology) for humans. They face eternal punishment. It questions if the pain of progress is worth the price. VI. Pandora's Box (Irreversible Action): Opening a forbidden box releases all evils into the world. Hope stays at the bottom. It shows that once you unleash a chaotic event, you can never put it back. Happy learning 🦋🦋🦋🦋

#JULY 1st new month, new energy
Albert Einstein said, “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”
There are only 2 ways to live life as an CSE aspirant : 1. One is as though nothing is a miracle: In this exam , You have to slog hard , study multiple books, practice multiple questions, get guidance from faculty, Subject matter experts , mentors, toppers. You run from pillar to post, gathering all knowledge and books. And , one day you crack prelims, write your first mains, appear for your first interview and get a rank. The day before the result, You tell yourself I have strived hard , I fought , I studied hard, I deserve to be there in the pdf. Its all my efforts and sleepless nights. Basically, KARMA - is your mantra ! 2. The other is as though everything is a miracle: But , as soon as the result comes, you are filled with gratitude. You start recollecting all the instances of good luck , support , love and care you received . You know , how at the right time right people turned up to guide you. You feel like God's favourite child. You know the role of Luck and you candidly admit it. You feel it as a miracle to be present here even, witnessing the day. Whatever could go wrong , went wrong and still you achieved ! That's how the journey is , a see saw between hard work and luck ! But if your thinking is reverse - You feel preparation is luck based and result - your own hard work, you are still playing from ego.

#UPSC CSE PREP Mindset What are the lies you're telling yourself right now? 1. We have read this quote many times : "When you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life." It's a blatant lie. The goal isn't to find stress-free work. It's to work on things one finds so meaningful that one is happy to stress over them. 2. Dopamine from information gathering is a dangerous drug. Material collection , enquiring about every new program / module launch , always on a lookout for a quick fix material Get your dopamine from action. Practice questions, Do Answer writing 3. I am not here for UPSC FIVE YEAR PLAN , 2 attempts and I am done ! Slow down. Dont be in a rush. Create space to think clearly. A career like this demands patience in preparation because it expects you to be Jack of all trades and Master of not one but few ! Dreams take time to realise , sometimes even 3+attempts. 4. "I can't handle Uncertainity , I need surety". The one who can tolerate the most uncertainty is the one who will eventually win. The entire year is an attempt in uncertainity , inspite of giving all , often we get stuck at the first stage. Its a swim in the dark ocean where few find the pearl. But life is like this. In 20s , you find your plan failing, You become sad and demotivated. By 30s n 40s , Life has taught you so much that you don't celebrate even Your wins, let alone find time for sadness. Nothing is guaranteed for a human being. 5. It's too late , Now my life is over ! The truth: It's never too late. You can wake up and choose to see things differently. To do things differently. You can change. You can completely reinvent your life. Too late is an internal fantasy. A fear-based coping mechanism. Every single time you think it's too late, it's probably still early. Just start. 6. "I'm not good enough" should become "I'm not good enough...YET." "Yet" is a one word reminder that you are in a state of continuous change and growth. You are not a fixed entity. You are not done becoming. New experiences reshape your perspectives. New challenges forge new skills. New chapters create new values. Always embrace the "yet" in your life.
If these truths, Have opened your eyes , GOOD Now , get back to studying !!!😊😊 🦋🦋🦋🦋
