Spoiler alert: I will not be waking up at 5AM tomorrow because I didn’t even manage to eat my dinner today. Not gonna pretend that I will do it by sending a scheduled message. I’ve just come home from work. Time to binge-watch interviews on YouTube, eat whatever my mum has cooked for me, and plan the day ahead before shutting my eyes until midday tomorrow.

What are you afraid of losing when nothing in this world actually belongs to you?

I don’t know why the mirror in the locker room has always the better reflection.

Switching to obnoxious language is one of the biggest signs you have lost the argument.

Calling Pep winning the treble with Manchester City inferior to Mourinho doing the same with Portu is recency bias. Manchester City had never had glorious history, especially on a European level before Pep arrived. There was only one Manchester before.

Guardiola > Mourinho. All day, every day of the week. 1. Just because you can spend billions on players doesn’t make you a bad coach. People say Pep has always had the best players. Hasn’t Mourinho had prime Ronaldo, Ibrahimovich, Eto’o, Lampard, Drogba, Carvalho, Sneijder, Alonso, Hazard, Pepe, Ramos, Ozil, Di Maria, Modrich, Benzema, Casillas, Cech, and many more stars at the top of their game? And we all know that Mourinho hasn’t really coached a team without a ton of cash to spend on players (Tottenham, Chelsea, Manchester United, Real Madrid — all big clubs with endless money), except for Portu. 2. Pep has never been sacked in his entire career. He has always left his club by choice. How many times has Mourinho got fired? He is not built for permanence and longevity. Just because you talk well in the media conference doesn’t mean you are the special one. Outclassing on the pitch is a whole different level.

Good morning.

Anyway, send me some good songs on your playlist

Again, it’s not about never asking questions. The underlying message here is: If your knee-jerk reaction to new knowledge is to instantly question it without attempting to accept it first, there is a very slim chance that you will gain it. There is a limit to challenging things. There is no difference between pretending that you know everything and questioning everything you are being taught. In both cases, you’re just too arrogant to accept the fact that there might be something beyond your comprehension. This sense of entitlement is dangerous and never lets you learn anything, hence the state in which you remain stuck in a rut.

He who always questions never learns.

Aziz Rahimovning Qomusiylik kursini birinchi darsidan olgan eng katta insight’imni bo’lishgim keldi. “Man ham ularga o’xshagan odamman” bilan “Ular ham manga o’xshagan odamda” deyishni farqi bor. Birinchisi havasga va harakatga, ikkinchisi esa hasadga olib keladi.

That socks joke.

Day 5 of my challenge. Today’s really important as I have a lot on my plate.
