In 1966, a group of kids was asked to predict the future in 2000. What might it look like? How much could automation affect human life in the near future? Their thoughts were deep. They articulated that our activities would be taken from us by automation. The exciting activities that we do won’t ever be done by ourselves but instead by machines. And that will be boring. In their time, automation was the only thing they knew. They didn’t recognize the things that would come after it, but they could feel it. They went on to say that only those with knowledge, IQ, and those who are behind the computer will advance in the job market, leaving others jobless. People will merely be just numbers, nothing else.
