🚨Ransomware Alert🚨 🇯🇵Japan - UTSUNOMIYA CENTRAL CLINIC Utsunomiya Central Clinic suffered a ransomware attack on February 10, 2025, leading to unauthorized access to its servers and a possible data breach affecting up to 300,000 individuals. The compromised data includes patients' and staff members' personal and medical information, excluding financial details such as bank accounts, credit card data, and My Number (Japanese social security numbers). As a precautionary measure, the clinic disconnected its servers from internal and external networks, resulting in a temporary suspension of medical consultations and health checkup services. 🚨Alert - 🇪🇬Egyptian Parliament ICTC The threat actor known as "syntheticcz" claims to be selling access to an email address belonging to the Egyptian Parliament's Information and Communication Technology Center (ICTC). The cybercriminal suggests that with this access, it is possible to track someone via Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), blackmail or extort someone, or even hack other members of the Egyptian government.
