An observation(Also a reminder to self) I wanted to share through this post and I honestly think alot of us can relate to this✨ Self focus can sometimes be a trap. Excess of it correlates with overwhelming thoughts, anxiety,self doubts,insecurity ,depression and decreased well being because the more we ruminate,judge,compare or plan,the worse we feel.🫠 So the more we try to “fix” ourselves,Ironically,the more stuck we become.😰 One of the way out is getting absorbed in something bigger than ourselves,something outside the self. That something could be Pursuing a Craft- Music,Dance,Painting or even performing /assisting a surgery✂️👨‍⚕️ It shifts your focus outwards and in ‘Flow state’ something powerful happens -Our sense of self dissolves and this lessens our imaginary sufferings ✌🏻️ So next time you have a rally of overwhelming thoughts,focus on something outside,Not in distraction but in devotion and try to engage deeply in mastering a Craft ❤️
