Held in Moscow from October 28 to 31, the School brought together over 100 participants from 38 countries across the BRICS and the Global South — young researchers, diplomats, entrepreneurs, and public leaders united by the spirit of cooperation and dialogue.

The event opened with a welcome address by Sergey Ryabkov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia and Russia’s BRICS Sherpa, who highlighted the crucial role of youth in fostering trust and mutual understanding, noting that “BRICS cultivates a new generation of thinkers and practitioners.” On the second day, our fellows visited HSE University, one of Russia’s leading research and educational centers, where they immersed themselves in its academic atmosphere and exchanged ideas with peers from around the world.
