https://twitter.com/katexbt/status/1754869146515370061 regarding the whole $OLAS thing basically, its a 150m mcap coin, and the only way (still is) to buy it was back in june and super hilariously low prices, and everyone who knew about it could. of course the distribution will be wonky, and this shouldn't really upset you or anyone if you're holding longterm Lots of people I know bought SOL for example at the pico lows in 2022, and sold for a 3-4x at most, and then went super upset during the summer when it was crabbing around 16-17 bucks (I bought majority of my SOL then btw lol) with no one except ansem and a few people really believing in it, remember that this was around the time you had sei/sui launch and the writing was on the wall for SOL, you had the 'FTX is dumping' fud, and here we are at almost 5x the july/august lows, and this is a top 10 coin or whatever. if you feel that this is the end of olas (or solana, even), sell now, if you feel there's upside, hold and dont leverage yourself (easy with olas, no way to, lol) obviously they're not comparable on any criteria, mcap, backing, tokenomics, what they do, etc, but the sentiment is more or less similar, think about it: valory rugged, vc premint coin designed for dumping, high FDV, shit erc20 that doesnt do anything, insiders bought at 20 cents on uniswap for weeks and weeks its over, etc. i dont think bittensor is that much different, there's one person who has shilled it heavily at 50, 60 dollars or whatever, twitter name rhymes with 'on god', and the TL did more or less the same thing when tao did its underperformance a few months ago that 'he dumped on you' or whatever, and now its time for some consolidation for olas. again, jan 4th, everything went down giga strong, and olas reached an all time high the team raising 4mil way back was made public knowledge apparently on 21st, and yet despite that, on the worst of days, olas (and other AI coins too, as well as some other ones) did pretty well. what does this tell you? AI x Crypto narrative here to stay.

best thing about it is that you can literally just leave it on for weeks and not bother looking at it, since they're both very passive instruments, JLP accrues value without you having to tinker with it, while SOL is SOL. JLP to 10 end of this cycle is programmed if SOL goes to 250.

probably one of the few trades you want to be in, plus farming meteora started with around 4700 a few days back, added a bit, but yeah, the APR on this is nuts. i am ok with holding both JLP and SOL, and if one overpowers the other, its fine, so i set my parameters this way (pic 2)

https://twitter.com/QwQiao/status/1753499080515358772 exactly my thoughts these days - btc is compared to gold, eth compared to btc, eth-beta (all the shit we saw on the run up post-ETF, LDO, ARB, OP, etc) get compared to ETH performance - sol/sei/sui are their own baskets of eth-killers (which, again, get compared to ETH itself, in a way, in terms of tech and use, not so much price, as the above), so they run a lot higher, because its hard to put a price on that. remember all the 2017 ETH killers and how hard they ran up. - so, how do you value stuff like Bittensor, Autonolas, Celestia - or even Jito, Pyth? Do you compare Bittensor/Autonolas/Fetch/Render to..Open AI's valuation (not publicly traded) or Nvidia's growth and price performance? Difficult, since its not the same thing in the slightest, and while they are correlated, its orders of magnitude of a difference in both tech and value proposition. So everyone assigns higher $$$ because its the sensible thing to do - its new, its hot, and its not vapor..at least not yet.
