I started programming when I was a freshman in pre-engineering. I began with Mosh’s videos I was in Pepsi(4k)😅
After that, I started dedicating around 1 to 5 hours every day to learning. I took so many courses, built my GitHub and my channel, and worked on different projects. I did projects for GBI Gubae, the IS department, different online clients, and also a lot of passion projects.
I got my first job by DMing people online on TikTok, I know, probably the last place you’d expect 😂. It was a project for someone from Nigeria, and I worked on it during the summer. After that, I was able to take interviews, apply for jobs, and eventually land a 6-month contract role. Then more jobs and projects came after that.
Now I’m working at a company and still learning consistently.
For me, the biggest things are consistency, being ready to learn new things, and honestly, I think I’m a pretty quick learner too 😄

I don’t want to mislead you, but I don’t think campus is the perfect environment for everyone. It really depends on the person and their situation.
For me, after freshman year, I was thinking about dropping out and learning on my own at that time I real don't have a deep skill as well but I had to choose, because I was in pre-engineering and I thought I’d end up in electrical or mechanical, which wasn’t really what I wanted. But then I got the chance to switch to IS, so I didn’t feel like I needed to drop out anymore.
So yeah, if I was in a totally unrelated department, I’d probably drop out. But now that I’m in a related field also I can do my thing without stressing about class so I’m staying.

I usually enjoy working alone and spending time by myself, but I still make time for ppl. I’m surrounded by many amazing, positive ppl, and I genuinely enjoy spending quality time with them.

1. I’ll skip this one. 😁
2. Like 5 hrs.
3. I’ve only watched 4 or 5 anime.
4. No, I only go for the exam.
5. We don’t talk about that publicly. 😭😁
6. Yea, after 2nd year, I really don’t see it as anything more than a regular class day. I don’t even read anything for the exam, especially this semester.

I was really about to drop out of college, but I’m glad I didn’t 😭 There’s honestly no point in dropping out when you can just learn enough to pass the courses.

I mean, I don’t know. I don’t think I need to fully double down on cybersecurity, but I want to become a blockchain developer, so I still need to learn some security concepts.

I’m looking for someone to polish short video ads for my client’s webinar.
We already have an automated workflow that adds B-roll, subtitles, animations, and basic edits. I’ll provide the original video, the edited video, and the poster. I need someone to review the final short videos and improve them with smooth transitions, background music, sound effects, music-related effects, better pacing, and a more professional finish.
This is not a full edit from scratch, just polishing and making the videos ready to post across social media.
Please DM with examples of short-form ads, reels, or social media videos you’ve edited, plus your price.
