🎙️ Instagram CEO has recently talked about why OnlyFans creators were getting banned. Adam Mosseri said: "We don't allow nudity, for instance, and we don't allow solicitation, so they might be unfortunately tripping up some of those rules," People still thinks it's because of the link providers, or the functionalities you use (direct link for example), but it's not the reason. It's harder to promote now and switching from one provider to another is not the key. You have to work on more neutral content and cleaner setups to increase your chances of staying in the long run. ⚠️ Update on the Instagram In-App Browser Deeplink Instagram has started changing how their in-app browser works, progressively blocking deeplinks (the ability to automatically open links outside Instagram in-app browser). This rollout is gradual and account-based, some users are affected, others are not yet. We've proactively disabled deeplinks globally. It's better for your visitors to land smoothly inside Instagram's browser than to risk a broken page. Your landing pages are fully functional, all links, buttons, and content work perfectly. We're exploring alternatives and will keep you posted. 🛡 Reminder: Don't forget to activate Shield Protection on your pages to protect your accounts from the ongoing ban wave.

Quick update regarding the DeepLink setup. The DeepLink is no longer embedded in the base landing page URL. It is now implemented directly on the button link. In practice, this does not change the conversion flow. The only difference is the trigger point: Before: DeepLink triggered at the landing page level. Now: DeepLink triggered when the user clicks the button. For Android, nothing changes — it works exactly as before. This update only concerns iOS, which has now been optimized for better performance. Since Thursday, Meta (Instagram & Threads) has rolled out a new update. If you’ve updated your iOS app, deep links no longer behave the same way. Previously, users were redirected to the app (safari) in one click. Now, Instagram requires an additional step before opening the destination. Around 90%+ of traffic is already familiar with this flow and clicks “Continue” without issue. However, if you prefer not to use deep links under these conditions, you can simply turn them off in your Advanced Settings (edit your links then advanced settings). Your link will then function as a standard, non–deep link URL. This change has been applied by Instagram across all links platform-wide. If you want a cleaner direct flow from Instagram to OnlyFans (for example) with a simple middle page and a more visible 18+ warning before the “Continue” action, you can use ninja.link, which is optimized for that setup. The Flow on IOS will be: Instagram → click on the link in bio → click “Continue” (with the 18+ content warning) → OnlyFans opens directly in Safari. ninja.link is a direct link so it may cause you some issues, the best is to try it on small IG accounts first.
