1st Plenum of the Central Committee of the DPRK ISG of the 3rd Convocation Held June 30. (DPRK ISG Information Bureau — RSTV) [English] [Русский] [中国语] [Deutsch] On June 10, the 1st Plenum of the Central Committee of the DPRK International Solidarity Group (DPRK ISG) of the 3rd convocation was held in an online format. The President of the DPRK ISG, Chairman of the Central Committee of the DPRK ISG, the head of our organisation, Comrade Zheng Yutong, presided over the Plenary meeting. The work of the Plenum was attended by members and candidate members of the Central Committee, directors of departments, heads of executive and regional committees of the DPRK ISG.

Conference Held on Anniversary of Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership June 26, Moscow. (DPRK ISG Information Bureau — RSTV) [조선어] [English] [Русский] [中国语] On June 19, activists of international solidarity paid a congratulatory visit to the Embassy of the DPRK and took part in the Conference on the occasion of the second anniversary of the Korean-Russian summit and the signing of the Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Korea and the Russian Federation. The event, organised in the shortest possible time by the DPRK International Solidarity Group (DPRK ISG) and the Russian Society for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, brought together many friends of Korea – representatives of the Russian academic community, state apparatus, students, and people's diplomacy.

Photo and Book Exhibition Opens in Russia June 21, Pyongyang (KCNA - RSTV) A photo and book exhibition opened in Moscow on the 17th on the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of the historic DPRK-Russia Pyongyang summit and the signing of the Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Russian Federation. Present at the opening ceremony of the exhibition were personages from the government, parties, organizations and institutions including the DPRK-Russia Friendship Parliamentary Group of the State Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, the Korean War Veterans' Society, and the All-Russian State Library for Foreign Literature, as well as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of our country to Russia and members of the embassy. Speeches were delivered at the opening ceremony. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of our country stressed the historic significance of the DPRK-Russia Pyongyang summit in June 2024 and the fact that bilateral solidarity and cooperation across all sectors have been further expanded and strengthened over the past two years. He expressed the conviction that this photo and book exhibition will contribute to consolidating the bonds of friendship between the peoples of the two countries and carrying forward the comprehensive strategic partnership between the DPRK and Russia as a long-term cause. The Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, who heads the DPRK-Russia Friendship Parliamentary Group of the State Assembly of the Russian Federation, noted that the signing of the Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries represents a new milestone in the history of DPRK-Russia relations and at the same time serves as a great driving force in expanding bilateral ties in all fields of cooperation. He expressed his determination to strive to further sublimate and develop the allied relations between the two countries in the future as well.

Work Plan for the Second Half of the Year Approved June 23, Moscow. (DPRK ISG Information Bureau — RSTV) [English] [Русский] [中国语] In early June, at the invitation of Comrade Kim Chun Song, First Secretary of the DPRK Embassy, a working meeting was held during which planning consultations took place. Key issues were discussed, including the current state of the DPRK International Solidarity Group (DPRK ISG) and the reasons for the formation of the DPRK International Youth Friendship League (IYFL), as well as the approval of the work plan for the coming months.

Kim Il Sung congratulated Iran’s Islamic Revolution in 1979, and relations between the two countries expanded throughout the 1980s during the Iran-Iraq War. In 1989, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei traveled to Pyongyang for a historic meeting with Kim Il Sung, symbolizing a partnership that has endured for nearly half a century. The alliances and relationships now being described as an “axis” were not created in response to today’s conflicts. Свидетельство украинского военнопленного, сдавшегося ВС КНДР в Курской области Москва, 16 июня. /Пульгынбёль ТВ/ Недавно в селе Гуево Курской области украинский военнопленный, сдавшийся Корейской Народной Армии, дал интервью военному корреспонденту, в котором рассказал о ситуации в тот момент и о гуманном отношении корейских военных. Этот военнопленный, родом из города Антрацит Луганской области, сообщил, что он стал не добровольцем, а жертвой мобилизации. По его словам, сначала его посадили в тюрьму, но власти освободили под домашний арест, чтобы сразу после освобождения призвать в армию. Вспоминая момент сдачи в плен, он рассказал, что бой развивался очень быстро: в окоп неожиданно влетели гранаты, а затем послышалась незнакомая речь. Как только его сослуживцы поняли, что это корейский язык, они, введённые в заблуждение пропагандой украинских властей, утверждавшей, будто корейские солдаты не оставляют пленных в живых, впали в панику. Корейские военные приказали ему передать по рации, что они не убивают пленных, и предоставили раненым жгуты, проявив таким образом гуманное обращение. Testimony of a Ukrainian Army Prisoner of War Who Surrendered to the Korean People's Army in Kursk Region June 16, Moscow (RSTV) A Ukrainian army prisoner of war who recently surrendered to the Korean People's Army in the village of Guevo, Kursk Region, gave testimony in an interview with a war correspondent about the circumstances at the time and the humane treatment by the Korean army. The prisoner, a native of the city of Antratsyt in Lugansk Region, stated that he was not a volunteer but a victim of conscription. He explained that he was initially imprisoned, but the authorities released him on condition of house arrest, which was a scheme to mobilize him immediately after release. Recalling the circumstances at the time of surrender, he said that the battle unfolded very rapidly, and suddenly grenades flew into the trench and an unknown language was heard. He confided that the moment his comrades realized the language was Korean, they fell into panic, believing, deceived by the propaganda of the Ukrainian authorities, that the Korean army does not spare prisoners. However, reality was completely different from their fears. The Korean army instructed them to announce by radio that they do not kill prisoners, and ensured humanitarian treatment by providing tourniquets to the wounded. The prisoner assessed that the Korean army soldiers were excellent young men, and testified that they themselves made a stretcher and escorted a wounded Korean army soldier to the Russian army position. He also exposed the actual situation inside the Ukrainian army. Before leaving for military training in France, there were brutal acts within the army where a drunken soldier was taped to a tree for two or three days, and deserters who were caught were punished in the same way. He conveyed that desertion attempts occurred almost daily, and the morale within the army had deteriorated to an extreme degree.

꾸르스크주에서 조선인민군에 항복한 우크라이나군 포로의 증언 (모스크바 6월 16일발 붉은별TV) [조선어] [English] [Русский] [中国语] 최근 꾸르스크주 구예보마을에서 조선인민군에 항복한 우크라이나군 포로가 종군기자와의 인터뷰에서 당시 상황과 조선군의 인도적대우에 대해 증언하였다. 루간스크주 안트라찌트시 출신인 이 포로는 자신이 자원입대가 아닌 징집의 희생자였다고 밝혔다. 그는 처음 감옥에 수감되였으나 당국이 가택연금 조건으로 석방하였으며 이는 석방후 곧바로 동원하기 위한 속셈이였다고 설명하였다. 항복당시 정황에 대해 그는 전투가 매우 급속히 전개되였으며 참호속에서 갑자기 수류탄이 날아들고 알 수 없는 언어가 들려왔다고 회상하였다. 그 언어가 조선어임을 알아챈 순간 동료들은 우크라이나당국의 선전에 속아 조선군이 포로를 살려두지 않는다고 믿고 공포에 빠졌다고 털어놓았다. 그러나 현실은 그들의 두려움과 완전히 달랐다. 조선군은 포로를 살해하지 않는다는 내용을 무전으로 알리도록 지시하였으며 부상자들에게 지혈대를 제공하는 등 인도주의적처우를 보장하였다. 포로는 조선군 병사들이 훌륭한 청년들이였다고 평가하면서 자신들이 직접 들것을 만들어 부상당한 조선군 병사를 러시아군 진지까지 호송하였다고 증언하였다. 또한 그는 우크라이나군 내부의 실상도 폭로하였다. 프랑스로 군사훈련을 떠나기 전 군대내에서는 만취한 병사를 이틀이나 사흘동안 나무에 테이프로 감아 묶어두는 가혹행위가 자행되였으며 도망자들도 붙잡혀 같은 방식으로 처벌받았다고 한다. 탈영시도는 거의 매일 발생할 정도로 군내 사기가 극도로 저하되여있었다고 그는 전하였다.

A. Mostov: First of all — thank you to Stas, Jack, Rita, and all my other close friends and comrades who spread information about our situation. It was only the wide publicity that prevented the Turkish authorities from detaining us for even longer. Many media outlets are reporting that this was a routine "detention." But in reality, it was not. Turkey conducted a full-scale paramilitary operation, deploying armed special forces and a swarm of drones against an ordinary youth camp. Thanks to the prompt work of the lawyers of the World Anti-Imperialist Platform, we knew the procedures well. However, Turkish govt. classified case "secret," blocked human rights lawyers claiming "conflict of interest," tried to prolong detention to fabricate terror charges. They still hold phones/laptops (even from those who gave passwords). One thing I can say for sure — if I came to Turkey as a people's diplomat, I left as a committed anti-fascist.

1 июля в 3 часа ночи полиция Турции совершила рейд в молодёжном лагере Всемирной антиимпериалистической платформы, проводившей под Стамбулом антиимпериалистическую конференцию. В результате было задержано более 20 человек, как местных активистов, так и иностранных участников форума. Известно, что среди задержанных оказались первый секретарь Лиги коммунистической молодёжи Югославии Милош Каравезич, первый секретарь Коммунистического союза молодёжи Армении Размик Давтян, а также двое россиян: председатель Алтайского общества изучения идей чучхе Дарья Кадкина и товарищ Жожекийского движения председатель Международного молодёжного союза дружбы с КНДР Александр Мостов. Все задержанные содержатся в полицейском участке провинции Чанаккале на западе Турции. Официальных причин задержания и деталей дела Турция пока не озвучила, однако задержанных обвиняют в пропаганде терроризма, за что им грозит тюремный срок до пяти лет. Арестованные уже несколько дней не выходят на связь. Антиимпериалистической форум проходил перед саммитом НАТО в Анкаре, который должен проводиться 7-8 июля. Сообщается, что основной темой обсуждения на саммите будет создание армейского корпуса НАТО в Турции. Ждём больше информации о судьбе задержанных и надеемся, что над их освобождением уже работают посольства и арестованные вскоре выйдут на свободу. Нарисовал Абдеёж
