*More detailed explanation on Jamb Policy for Candidates Already in School* 📍 There’s been some confusion, so let me explain this clearly and calmly. JAMB has emphasized that running two academic programmes at the same time is not allowed. This statement has been misunderstood by many people. It does not mean that students who are already enrolled in a university, polytechnic, or college are barred from registering for or writing UTME. *Here is what it actually means.* If you are already in school, you are still free to register for UTME, sit for the examination, and your result will be released like every other candidate’s. During registration, you will only be required to agree to JAMB’s admission guidelines, which include a declaration of compliance. _So what exactly is JAMB restricting?_ You are allowed to write JAMB. You are allowed to seek admission. What you are not allowed to do is hold or run two admissions at the same time. This means that if, after seeing your UTME result, you decide to pursue a new admission, you must first withdraw from your current institution before you can properly process or accept another admission. As long as you are still officially a student in one school, no other school is permitted to offer you admission. Put simply: You can write UTME while still in school. After the results are out, you then make a decision either keep your current admission or withdraw from it and continue with the new one. JAMB will no longer permit candidates to retain two active admissions under any circumstance. They’ll request your details, enter them into the system, generate a profile code if you don’t already have one, and then proceed just like every other candidate. *All I can say is that you all should read because is not just about passing jamb but about scoring extremely high, university like UNN requireds you to score 340 and above to get course like medicine on merit anything less than 340 will not give you medicine in UNN , unless you have strong connection or millions to use and force your way in ,like wise UI u need to score extremely high in your jamb exam to be on saver side unless you are preparing for private universities 🤷‍♂️.*
