Zinc is also the primary factor in our ability to recycle vitamin C. In order to replenish zinc, first make sure to avoid: -Heavy metals -Phytic acid -Alcohol The best sources of zinc are: -Shellfish -Beef 4)Cobalt Cobalt is used in the body to help absorb and process vitamin B12, is a cofactor for the formation of thyroxine, it is necessary for the production of blood cells and is essential for the metabolism of carbohydrates and fats, helps the conversion of folate and aids in the repair of myelin shealth. Cobalt can activate some of the enzymes that zinc and manganese activate. In order to have enough cobalt just make sure to not be vegan or vegetarian. 5) Calcium Calcium is a mineral needed for bone and teeth formation, nerve function, regulating heartbeat and helping muscles to contract. About 99% of the body’s calcium is stored in bones and the remaining 1% is found in blood, muscle, and other tissues. The body gets the calcium it needs in two ways. One is by eating foods that contain calcium and the other is by drawing from calcium in the body. If one does not eat enough calcium-containing foods, the body will remove calcium from bones. Ideally, the calcium that is “borrowed” from the bones will be replaced at a later point. But this doesn’t always happen, and can’t always be accomplished just by eating more calcium if vitamin K2 and D levels are not optimal or the person eats large doses phytic acid. Calcium is crucial for thyroid health and when it is absent the stress hormone PTH rises. Calcium also stimulates LH and is thus a crucial mineral for androgen health. The best sources of calcium are: -Raw dairy -Bone broth/marrow -Eggshells Just keep them in mind if you have to restrict dairy for a bit (supplementing with some K2 would be a good idea at that time). 6) Boron Boron is a trace mineral (which means that once again an excess will backfire) that: -Helps our bodies metabolize vitamins and minerals. -Has a key role in bone health and brain health. -Lowers excessive estrogen and SHBG. -Boosts fee and total testosterone levels. -Can also extend the half life of vitamin D. -Supports the adrenals. -Helps the body retain and utilize other minerals such as magnesium and calcium. -Improves muscle coordination and muscle glycogen. -Improves sleep. The best dietary sources of boron are: -Prunes -Raisins -Avocados 7)Selenium Selenium is a trace mineral which is an essential component of various enzymes and proteins, called selenoproteins that help to make DNA and protect against cell damage and infections. These proteins are also involved in reproduction and the metabolism of thyroid hormones. Most selenium in the body is stored in muscle tissue, although the thyroid gland holds the highest concentration of selenium due to various selenoproteins that assist with thyroid function. In order to replenish selenium you must basically avoid heavy metals (especially mercury) and also not mindlessly supplement iodine. The best sources of selenium are: -Shellfish -Fin fish -Eggs -Beef -Turkey -Chicken 8)Iodine Iodine is crucial in order to make antimicrobial peptides, the health of our thyroid, Leydig cells and the function of the immune system. In order to replenish iodine, you need to make sure to avoid sodium fluoride. Foods such as quality oysters, quality shrimp and even some organic seaweed contain enough. 9)Sulfur Sulfur is the third most abundant mineral in your body, it is crucial for the health of your skin, hair, nails, tendons, ligaments and helps the production of glutathione. Dietary sources of sulfur include: -Free range/P.R eggs -Raw dairy -Garlic/onion 10)Chromium Low levels of chromium will increase blood sugar and increase the risk for a number of conditions from diabetes all the way to heart disease. Dietary sources of chromium include: -Organic organ meats -Shellfish -Potatoes 11)Manganese

🗿⚡️What you need to know about minerals in case you are interested in having better athletic performance, gut health, skin health, mood, hormonal health and a lot more. But being depleted of minerals can create many problems, since minerals are needed for: ● Thousands of enzymatic reactions ● Regulating our nervous system ● Detoxification ● Energy production ● Blood cell production ● Oxygen metabolism ● The utilization of vitamins ● Adrenal health ● Blood sugar regulation ● Thyroid health ● Gut health (HCL, antimicrobial and digestive enzyme production) ● Battling oxidative stress ● Immune function ● Hormone synthesis ● Cellular hydration of cells (controlling fluids inside and outside cells) ● Bone health ● Skin health ● Joint health ● Hair health ● Heart health ● Brain health and a lot more. So in general, minerals are needed for everything and if we neglect their importance we can not expect to reach peak levels of health. There are two kinds of minerals: Number 1: Macro minerals which include things such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium and sulfur. Number 2: Trace minerals/elements which include things such as copper, boron, iodine, cobalt, zinc, iron, selenium and manganese. Now let’s break everything down the most basic and crucial functions and sources of minerals. 1)Magnesium Magnesium is the fourth most abundant mineral in the human body and assists more than 300 enzymes (enzymes, not enzymatic reactions, these two are different things) to carry out various chemical reactions in the body such as building proteins, strong bones, oxidative phosphorylation, glycolysis, blood pressure, muscle and nerve functions. Magnesium also acts as an electrical conductor that contracts muscles and makes the heart beat steadily. More than half of the magnesium in our body is stored in bones, and the remaining in various tissues throughout the body. Magnesium also plays a role in the active transport of calcium and potassium ions across cell membranes. Now before starting to pop magnesium supplements, make sure that you've addressed the factors that lead to the depletion of Mg first. The main ones are: -Phytic acid -Stress -Aluminum -Alcohol -Diuretics The best sources of magnesium are: -Mineral water -Swimming in the clean ocean / sea etc -Some magnesium supplements that are not filled with toxic food additives -Organic beef heart 2)Copper Copper is an essential trace (key word: trace, so getting a lot of it will backfire) mineral found in higher concentrations in organs such as the liver, kidneys, brain and heart. The mitochondria depend on copper for energy metabolism and copper plays a key role in functions within the body such as: -Red blood cell production. -Iron absorption. -The regulation of heart rate and blood pressure. -The development and maintenance of connective tissue. -The production of SOD and ceruloplasmin. -Bone health (when a person has enough enough boron and copper in his system (besides calcium and its regulators obviously) there is a significant increase in bone density). -Hormone production. -Immune system maintenance and activation. -Brain development. -Oxygen metabolism. -Formation of collagen. In order to replenish copper, first make sure to avoid: -Inorganic iron -Sodium fluoride -Heavy metals -Supplementing with large doses of zinc (over 50mg for most forms) for a long period of time -Supplementing with ascorbic acid for a long period of time Now we don’t need that much copper and the best dietary sources for replenishing copper in the beginning are: -High quality shellfish -Glyphosate free bee pollen You can also do potatoes and a quality cacao if you don't have an issue with oxalates and it's tested for heavy metals. 3)Zinc Zinc is a trace mineral necessary for almost 100 enzymes to carry out vital chemical reactions that play a key role in: -The creation of DNA -Growth of cells -Building proteins -Healing damaged tissue -Supporting a healthy immune system -Digestion

🌅Should You Take a Vitamin D Supplement? Vitamin D is often called the "sunshine vitamin", an essential nutrient with many important bodily functions. It increases the intestinal absorption of calcium, magnesium and phosphate. Vitamin D2 and D3 are the most important. Vitamin D3 is about twice as potent at raising blood vitamin D levels compared to vitamin D2. Vitamin D3 is what our skin produces naturally when exposed to sunlight not D2. It functions like a hormone that gets synthesized when your skin is exposed to sunlight. The role of vitamin D is to regulate calcium metabolism and also control functionig of muscles and the immune system. ✅There are many Benefits when having a Higher Intake: -lower risk of cardiovascular disease -reduce risk of getting influenza in schoolchildren -lower risk of multiple sclerosis -help to maintain healthy mood -lower risk of cancer -lower risk for type 1 diabetes -help with weight loss by surpressing appetite -improves muscle strength in limbs And most of the population is deficient in vitamin D, from both their diet, as well as natural sunlight exposure. The RDA for vitamin D for most children and adults is 600 IU. 📉Signs of vitamin D deficiency can include: -Mood disorders and depression -Chronic fatigue syndrome and exhaustion -Frequent infections -Slow wound healing and frequent injuries -Low bone density and rickets -Hair loss -Muscle Pain and fibromyalgia Given that you can't get a lot of vitamin D from food and most people aren't exposed to that much sun, it's a good idea to take vitamin D supplement. 🧾Here's how to do it: -Get a blood test to check your vitamin D levels. Optimal range is between 40-60ng/ml. Under 30-40 then consider taking a vitamin D3 supplement. -Add vitamin D rich foods. Get more egg yolks, supplement cod liver oil, eat fatty fish especially wild salmon, liver and salmon roe. -Take a vitamin D supplement If you live in darker climates, then take more Vitamin D. During the winter months it's good to take about 4.000-7.500 IUs. During the summer, less vitamin D is needed perhaps 1.000-2.000 IUs. Also important to include other fat soluble vitamins. Like vitamin A, K and E to get the full benefits of vitamin D. Eat organ meats, fatty fish, fermented foods and meat. Get enough Magnesium. Aim for about 400-500mg daily to help activate vitamin D. ☀️Spend more time outside in the sun!

The world’s healthiest, most nutrient-dense superfood. Also happens to taste like crap. This Text goes into everything you need to know about liver What makes it unbeatable, why doctors hate it, how to get around that crappy taste, and more Liver has been POPPING on twitter as an esoteric health food, but most can’t even make a dent in the amount of liver that their grandparents ate. So the first question to answer would be why did we stop eating liver? That comes down to the Doctors. Liver is very high in cholesterol and we have been shammed into believing that we shouldn’t eat it for that reason. However, as I have talked about many times in previous posts, cholesterol is not only something that shouldn’t be avoided but it should actually be embraced. Cholesterol fuels the brain, so having too little cholesterol can be detrimental. You also have to look into the HDL to LDL ratio. HDL is generally considered good cholesterol and maximizing that ratio is a way to maximize heart health! On top of that, higher LDL isn’t necessarily a bad thing if it is in the form of large LDL molecules, which do not get stuck like small ones. Most healthy foods can increase large LDL but not small very much, resulting in less dense LDL and lower risk of clots. Finally, cholesterol is a building block of many of our hormones including Testosterone and other very necessary hormones we need to maximize. Avoiding cholesterol can lead to hormonal issues which is a 1 way ticket to all different types of poor health markers. So now that that is over with, let’s get into the benefits. Liver is the most nutrient-dense food on the planet. We used to eat Nose to Tail and enjoy this beautiful part of cattle (or other animals) but now that seems to be a lost art. Liver is high in: Vitamin C, A, Phosphorous, Potassium, Copper, and so many more nutrients that are extremely important to our functioning and hormones. Why anyone would want to get a multivitamin made in a lab (and packaged in plastic) is beyond me. Liver also improves your bone health which is essential when young and while aging. Strong bone are an important foundation to strong health. Next is brain function and mood. Liver is very dense in vitamin B-12 and high B-12 levels are extremely important to our cognition and fights feeling depressed, irritable, or confused. Why are we giving out SSRI’s and memory-loss drugs? They might just need liver! It is a messed up, money-hungry, system. Liver, also because of B-12, is great for energy levels. If you feel tired throughout the day or even depressed, it may be because of too low B-12 levels. And liver has some of the highest B-12 levels of any food. Liver is also a huge booster for eye health, heart health, and toxin filtering, in general. Though he may have been a steroid-loving marketing plant, I do understand why Liver King was so high on liver consumption. If you can get over the taste. When I first tried it raw. Man it tasted like crap. Tried it cooked. Still tasted like crap. For that reason, I decided that there must be a better way. I still don’t eat as much liver as I should, but, in my opinion, this is the best way for me to eat it without just primally beasting the taste (probably the coolest option). Cut the raw liver up into pill size chunks and freeze them. Then, you can pop a few every morning. Easy and efficient but make sure to get good, optimally grass-fed liver! Start integrating Liver in your daily nutrition and you'll see how your overall health will improve. The system is rigged against you 🫵 You must take back control of your own health! • Buy locally 📍 • Shake your farmers hand 👨‍🌾 • Find the most nutrient dense food on the planet 🌎 If you don't know where or what to buy, check this guide 👇 • https://bit.ly/thegrocerystoreguide Fight the system by becoming an INFORMED CONSUMER 🏆

THE POWER OF BEE PRODUCTS 🍯 How one insect is responsible for some of the most powerful superfoods on earth Ancient Egyptians practiced beekeeping for thousands of years They attached great significance to the honey bee, and it was associated with royalty They made their own hives out of clay & mud, and moved them up & down the Nile on rafts, allowing bees to pollinate flowers Many other ancient cultures cherished bee products as well, including the ancient Greeks, Romans and Chinese. So, what is it that’s so special about these products? Let’s get into it Honey bees produce 5 different superfoods which all have unique properties: -Raw honey -Bee pollen -Royal jelly -Propolis -Manuka honey Raw Honey 🍯 This is the most common bee product and for good reason; it’s rich in antioxidants, living enzymes, and amino acids and more. Raw honey has a ton of therapeutic properties, including: -Nootropic, memory-enhancing effects -Can counter oxidative stress via polyphenols -Can counter neuroinflammation -Helps sleep via tryptophan which is eventually made into melatonin -Antifungal, antibacterial -Allergy remedy -Pre-workout The list goes on! Raw honey is an a great way to get your sweets in without the negative effects of processed sugars. Be careful though, raw honey is extremely sensitive to heat. A lot of the enzymes will be killed above temperatures normally found in the hive (around 95 degrees) Putting it in tea & coffee tastes great, but you are likely losing out on most of the benefits of truly raw honey Propolis 💊 Known as “bee glue” propolis is a mixture of beeswax and tree resins used to seal the hive and bee larvae. Propolis is a powerful antibiotic and antiviral, and has been traditionally used to combat a cold or flu. It has even been shown to reduce an enzyme responsible for increasing blood pressure (tyrosine hydroxylase). When buying propolis, it should be extracted with alcohol which makes it more bioavailable. Bee Pollen 🐝 Honeybees collect granules of pollen which form into pellets. This is an extremely powerful allergy remedy when buying locally sourced bee pollen. It’s also: -Loaded with antioxidants including flavonoids, carotenoids, quercetin and glutathione -Contains over 250 active substances -Anti-inflammatory due to the phospholipids and unsaturated fatty acids -18 vitamins and 22 minerals Royal Jelly 🐙 Royal jelly is stored in a special honeycomb called the “queen cell”, which surrounds the larvae of the queen bees. It is no coincidence that these queen bees have greater longevity than other bees. It contains unique proteins, which are known as “major royal jelly proteins” and unique fatty acids as well. It also contains several B vitamins and trace minerals. Like other bee products, it also has powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Manuka honey 🍯🐝 Manuka honey is a special honey produced in New Zealand by bees that pollinate the Manuka bush, which is known for its bioactive properties. It has powerful benefits used both topically and orally. Using a Manuka honey face mask is amazing for acne and other skin conditions because of it’s antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, as well as wound healing. Those properties also make it beneficial when taken orally, shown to treat GI issues and stimulate tissue growth. It should have an MGO of at least 250, & UMF 16. My favorite way to consume these products is eating raw honeycomb. Not only is it a delicious snack, but it contains honey, propolis, royal jelly and bee pollen. Besides producing these amazing superfoods, bees are essential for the health of people and the planet, as their role as pollinators make them vital for food supplies. Our ancient ancestors attaching great significance to the honey bee was no accident; they knew how powerful these substances were and how important they are for the planet.

7 reasons why 70% of Americans are overweight or obese: 1. Overabundance of processed food 🍔 There's 50,000 different products to choose from in your average grocery store today Most of the public is either ill-informed on what these ingredients do to their bodies or do not have the right tools to discern what's healthy vs. what's not 2. Monopolization ♟ 10 companies control practically ALL the food we eat Choice is an illusion These companies are purely drive by profit and will sacrifice your health and quality of life to make a buck 3. Unhealthy fats 🥜 We've demonized truly healthy fats such as butter, ghee, tallow, or coconut oil... ...in favor of industrially processed "vegetable" oils These seed oils are everywhere and a train wreck to human health 4. Bad incentives ❌ Pharmaceutical companies own our food supply Bayer owns Monsanto who owns 80% of all genetically modified seeds Healthcare has turned to sickness management They give us the poison Then sell us the cure. 5. Regulations 📺 Products such as Raw Milk are banned for children consumption... But things such as cornflakes are allowed and even MARKETED towards the youth 6. Sedentary Lifestyles 🧑‍🦽 Humans are moving less than ever before in history The average American only gets about 3,000 - 4,000 steps in a day which is frighteningly low 7. Sugar 🍫 We eat on average around 130 lbs of sugar per year Nutrient dense food is pushed to the side to make room for refined carbohydrates and sugary products The system is rigged against you 🫵 You must take back control of your own health! • Buy locally 📍 • Shake your farmers hand 👨‍🌾 • Find the most nutrient dense food on the planet 🌎 If you don't know where or what to buy, check this guide 👇 https://bit.ly/thegrocerystoreguide Fight the system by becoming an INFORMED CONSUMER 🏆

THE GUT AND SKIN CONNECTION 🔁 How poor gut health is linked to skin disorders & the quality of your skin In the world of quick fixes, people rush to find a product they can lather on when they are experiencing skin issues *Most* dermatologists are no better; prescribing creams that at best don’t treat the root cause, and at worst are toxic chemicals that can cause lasting damage The truth is, like most health issues, the answer comes from within. If you don’t address the root cause, you’ll rarely get lasting results. So, what is the root cause? More times than not, the gut. Similar to the gut-brain axis-where our gut and brain are in constant communication-our gut and skin are also in constant communication by what is known as the gut-skin axis. Where there is gut inflammation, there is almost always skin inflammation, caused by gut dysbiosis. 70-80% of our immune system lies in the gut, but the skin, our largest organ, is the first line of defense. The skin, similar to the gut, also has a diverse community of beneficial bacteria, known as the skin microbiota. Now it is no surprise that dysbiosis in the skin and/or gut microbiota causes an immune response, as well as inflammation, resulting in skin conditions including acne, psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, dandruff and even skin cancer. Leaky gut, caused by damage to your intestinal barrier, allows toxins to “leak” into your bloodstream, causing an immune response and systemic inflammation. This, in turn, can result in skin disorders. Furthermore, there is evidence that up to 40% of people with acne have hypochlorhydria (low stomach acid production), which can cause intestinal permeability and SIBO. SIBO = Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth occurs when there is an abnormal increase in the overall bacterial population in the small intestine One study showed SIBO is 10 times more prevalent in acne and rosacea patients. Another important point is that if we are suffering from gut dysbiosis, we’re also not absorbing all of the key nutrients from our food that is needed for healthy, glowing skin. Acne, the most common skin condition, is caused by your skin producing too much sebum, which clogs pores. Your gut influences sebum production as well as the fatty acid composition of the sebum. Some studies show that over 50 percent of people with acne have significant changes to their gut bacteria. The list goes on, and there are many links to the gut including eczema, psoriasis, dandruff, rosacea, wound healing and even skin cancer. Despite being a somewhat new topic, the evidence of the gut-skin connection is undeniable. Luckily, the link is starting to pick up more steam in research and in the field of dermatology. One thing is for sure, if you're dealing with skin issues it can't hurt to address the gut.

🍳Eggs are one of the most demonized foods of all time. They've earned a bad reputation due to misinformation about their impact on cholesterol. The truth is, they’re one of the closest things we have to a real superfood. ✅Here are 10 reasons you should eat eggs every day: 1. Eggs are great for your cholesterol It’s time to crack the myth that eggs are bad for your cholesterol. Let’s clear this up: Those who claim eggs are high in cholesterol aren't giving you the full picture. There is good cholesterol (HDL) and bad cholesterol (LDL). A food’s ratio of HDL and LDL is much more important than its cholesterol content. Eggs increase good cholesterol levels and help your body manage bad cholesterol. Don’t let keyboard warriors stand between you and nature’s version of a multivitamin. 2. They’re extremely nutrient-dense Each egg you eat contains: • Protein • Choline • Selenium • Vitamin D • Phosphorus • Antioxidants • Vitamin B12 This gives them a much higher nutrient-per-calorie ratio than most foods. 3. Egg yolks improve bone density Your sunny-side-up eggs are packed with vitamin D — the “sunshine” vitamin. Vitamin D plays a key role in optimizing your body’s calcium absorption. Eggs also contain zinc, lutein, and zeaxanthin, which all improve bone health. 4. Eggs are great for your brain Choline is a lesser-known nutrient found in eggs that improves your: • Memory • Emotions • Motor control It’s ideal to get 550 mg of choline per day, and 90% of Americans fail to do so. 1 egg contains nearly 150 mg of choline on its own! 5. Eggs get you yolked Foods are graded based on their protein content, and eggs have a perfect score of 100. Other foods are measured to see how close they come to eggs’ protein density. This means that eggs are a great food for anyone training to burn fat and build muscle. 6. They’re rich in omega-3 Omega-3 fats are critical for the health of your: • Heart • Brain • Joints • Bones Adults should aim to consume 250-500 mg of long-chain omega-3 fatty acids per day. Just two eggs will get you over halfway there! 7. Eggs strengthen your vision Eggs contain two key antioxidants: lutein and zeaxanthin. These help protect against age-related vision loss and eye problems. 8. They satiate your hunger quickly Eggs are extremely rich in protein, so they help you feel fuller longer. Protein reduces ghrelin levels in your body, which is a hormone that makes you feel hungry. This makes eggs a great food if you’re trying to eat more mindfully. 9. Eggs are great for your skin Eggs are also high in nutrients that promote skin health, such as: • Zinc • Lutein • Vitamin A • Vitamin E These nutrients reduce inflammation, improve hydration, and reduce the signs of aging in your skin. 10. They’re incredibly diverse I eat about 5-10 eggs per day. For something to be sustainable, you have to find ways to enjoy it. Here are my favorite ways to prepare eggs to avoid getting burnt out: • Scrambled • Hard boiled • Sunny side up • On top of a burger

SEED OILS 🌱🛢 Let's start with a quick history lesson: SEED OILS WERE ORIGINALLY USED AS MACHINE LUBRICANTS They were the most popular form of lube until petroleum was discovered When petroleum took over, we had extra seed oil that we had to find something to do with You've probably heard of Proctor & Gamble before You can thank P&G for the intro of seed oils to the diet They discovered that you can "hydrogenate" cottonseed oil to make it buttery With this new buttery machine lube, they invented "Crisco" & introduced it in 1911 No one liked Crisco at first It was awful compared to butter or lard Then Eisenhower had a heart attack in the 1950's This pushed heart disease to the forefront of the American psyche Eisenhower's physician was Paul Dudley White who was good friends with Ancel Keyes Keyes was the first to make us fear saturated fat He traveled the world looking at saturated fat intake and levels of heart disease He went to 22 countries Only 7 fit his hypothesis & he just left the rest out The flaws in Keyes's study didn't matter to U.S. regulatory agencies who started demonizing saturated fat Eisenhower was put on a low saturated fat, high PUFA diet because of these findings Why was the AHA so eager to promote these new "heart-healthy" fats? Because P&G paid them $1.7 million (this is $20 million today) ALWAYS FOLLOW THE MONEY 💸 A fraudulent study and bribe are the reasons that America is so sick today It is sad, but true The most common fatty acid in seed oils is Linoleic Acid (LA) Americans today are full of LA At this point, you are probably wondering why seed oils are so bad for us Here are just a few things they are doing to our body: DRIVING HEART DISEASE 🫀 You heard me right The very disease that they were put into the diet to stop, they are causing ...DESTROYING OUR FERTILITY 🫃 Fertility rates are at an all-time low & seed oils are largely to blame We all hear of more and more people struggling to get pregnant We evolved to be fertile When infertility is running rampant, you know we have a big problem CAUSING LIVER DISEASE 🤒 Our liver is a very important organ It helps us detox, stores glycogen, & regulates many processes in the body Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease used to be unheard of Now it is even being seen in kids You can thank the seed oils THEY MAKE OUR CELL MEMBRANES WEAK & FRAGILE 👨‍🔬 Weak membranes lead to: -sunburn & skin issues -bad mitochondria -inability to make energy efficiently -destroyed metabolism = obesity & diabetes Seed oils are an industrial poison that is at the center of most Americans' diet It may be hard to believe that one thing could be this toxic, but they are It takes up to 7 years for all the PUFAs to be removed from your membranes YOU NEED TO START TODAY ‼️ Here is what you can do to get seed oils out of your diet: -eat butter, tallow, and ghee -avoid processed foods -limit how often you eat out (especially fast food) -cook your own food -stay consistent — healing from them is a process

Youthful skin is less about what you put ON your skin and more about what you put IN your body. Here are the 7 Powerhouse foods YOU NEED TO EAT for healthy skin. The first thing to understand is that your skin needs the following nutrients to be healthy: - Zinc - Biotin - Glycine - Selenium - Thiamine (B1) - Riboflavin (B2) - Vitamin A, C, D, E, and K Now here are 7 foods that contain those nutrients: 1. Collagen 🧪 Important nutrient: Glycine Provides the building blocks for skin elasticity and firmness. Consuming collagen-rich foods like bone broth can support skin structure and promote a youthful appearance. Bonus: combine with Vitamin C They work together: by Vit C oxidizing lysine and proline residues in the collagen molecules. Sprinkle Collagen powder on your citrus fruit. 2. Pasture-Raised Eggs 🍳 Important nutrients: Zinc, Biotin, and Vitamins A, D, and E All of which contribute to healthy skin cell growth, repair, and protection against sun damage. Plus cholesterol builds a nice layer of skin. Raw yolks retain more nutrients. Slonk them raw 3. Oysters 🐚 Important nutrient: Zinc An excellent source of zinc, which is essential for skin cell renewal, wound healing, and maintaining a healthy skin barrier. Oysters also contain copper, which supports collagen production. 4. Beef Liver 🐄 Important nutrients: Vitamin A, Zinc Vitamin A promotes skin cell turnover and zinc aids with wound healing. Eating the liver can also help your own liver which can help with your gut health which is important for healthy nutrient absorption. 5. Seafood 🦑 Important nutrients: Selenium, Zinc, Iodine Fish like salmon and shellfish provide omega-3 fatty acids, and antioxidants like selenium, and zinc, which reduce inflammation, protect against oxidative stress, and support skin elasticity. 6. Berries/Cherries 🍓🍒 Important nutrient: Vitamin C Antioxidant-rich berries like blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries can help combat free radicals and oxidative stress, which contribute to premature skin aging. 7. Sunlight 🌅 Important nutrient: Vitamin D Controlled exposure to sunlight is essential for vitamin D synthesis, which supports skin cell growth, repair, and immune function. However, moderation is key to avoiding overexposure and sun damage. (view sunrise/sunset) ❗️Honorable mention: Avoiding Seed Oils 🌱🛢 Seeds are high in pro-inflammatory omega-6 fatty acids, which can contribute to systemic inflammation and potentially exacerbate skin conditions like acne, eczema, and premature aging when consumed in excess. Here's the list: 1. Collagen 2. Pasture-Raised Eggs 3. Oysters 4. Beef Liver 5. Seafood 6. Berries 7. Sunlight & Avoid seed oils

⬆️⬆️⬆️ A very Important Article for the Upcoming Summer Time. Ditch the Sunscreen and start going into the sun more so that you don't need any sunscreen when it's Summer

Virtually every aspect of your health will improve with additional natural light/sun exposure in your day to day. 🫵The real reason you are getting burned in the sun is because you haven’t taken any steps to adapt to tolerating it. People eat a diet of processed, seed-oil filled garbage, spend all year indoors under florescent lights, and then go on a week-long Cancun vacation, sit in the sun for 8 hours while they booze all day and wonder why they’re fried to a crisp. How to Build Your Solar Callus Anyone can acclimate to longer sun-exposure and build a ‘solar callus’ without sunscreen. Sunscreen gives you the illusion of UV protection, often leading to staying in the sun far longer than your tolerance is capable of and thus, overexposure. 👉Instead, we should be relying on the body’s natural reaction to burning skin – telling you that you’re overexposed. Here’s 4 ways to build your tolerance: Gradual Exposure ⛅ You can build your solar callus by spending time in the sun when its rays are the mildest, at sunrise and sunset. Gradually spend more time in the sun, and cover you skin with clothes and a hat, or get in the shade when you start to feel yourself burning. Ditch The Sunglasses 🕶 Not wearing sunglasses in the sun may sound counterintuitive, but when the eyes are covered, they signal to your brain that you are in the shade. Because of this, your body stops releasing melanin into the skin, leaving you more vulnerable to overexposure. Moisturization and Hydration 🧴 Before and after sun exposure, moisturize in coco oil and/or tallow. Be extremely diligent about maintaining hydration with filtered water, salt & lime. When you start to feel overexposed, get in the shade and allow your skin time to recover. Diet 🥩 Everything we consume effects our body in some way. When you fill up on processed garbage and inflammatory oils, they will burn in your skin under the sun. Once you eliminate these from your diet, your sun tolerance will increase, and you’ll have no need for sunscreen. It is completely irrational to be scared of the most spectacular, energizing, healing, life-giving force on earth. Get sun exposure in moderation and you will only experience positive health benefits. Once your skin is used to it, you will not burn. Reject soyscreen, embrace the sun 🌤

The sun does not cause cancer ☀️ Sunscreen does. This might sound crazy to some of you, but sunscreen is not necessary, and you’re far more likely to get skin cancer by using it than going without it. Let me explain In the United States, more people are diagnosed with skin cancer each year than all other cancers combined. In modern years, large corporations (the same ones who turn around and treat you for said skin cancer) have tricked us into thinking the sun is the cause of this. The same sun that has been worshiped for thousands of years by humans as the greatest life-giving source on earth… The standard advice from these corporations and their acronym org counterparts (WHO, CDC, NHS, etc.) has been to lather on a healthy layer of sunscreen every two hours or so in order to avoid sunburns and thus, skin cancer. 🤔Seems harmless. But have you ever investigated the chemicals used in said sunscreen to “protect” you? Here are a few you should probably be aware of: Oxybenzone – An FDA approved ingredient found in over 70% of sunscreens because it is effective at reducing UV exposure. However, it does this by penetrating the skin, allowing both it and other chemicals to enter the body. Oxybenzone is known for creating birth defects, breast cancer, and lowering testosterone. Since the introduction of sunscreen with oxybenzone skin cancer rates have risen by ~200%. According to the CDC, 97% of Americans have this chemical circulating their body. Octinoxate – A commonly used UV filter in suncreens, also approved by the FDA. Octinoxate is a known endocrine disruptor that can mimic hormones. Similar to oxybenzone, it is absorbed through the skin and has been found in. human urine, blood, and breast milk. Homosalate – Another FDA approved ingredient that is used as a UV absorber in sunscreen. Essentially, its purpose is to help other chemicals in sunscreen penetrate your skin. Homosalate is a hormone disruptor that bio-accumulates in the body faster than it can be eliminated. Octocrylene – Is a synthetic UV absorber and SPF booster. Like homosalate, octocrylene has been shown to bio-accumulate in the body. It is known for causing severe allergic reactions on the eyes and skin. When in the heat from the sun, octocrylene quickly degrades into benzophenone, a known carcinogen that causes dermatitis, endocrine disruption, and cancer. 🚨This chemical is found in almost 3,000 products sold in the U.S. Avobenzone – is used to replace oxybenzone in more ‘natural’ sunscreens. However, it is highly unstable in UV light, meaning it is susceptible to photodegradation in the sun, which increases free radicals in the skin. Honorable mentions 📝 -Cylcopentasiloxane -Methylisothiazolinone -Parabens -Phthalates These are also harmful chemicals, with similar endocrine disrupting and cancer-causing effects as the ones above. ❗️Not to mention, lathering your body in this chemical goop also blocks all essential vitamin D intake from the sun. Our Relationship With The Sun🌅 Think about it for a second, there is not a single other living creature on earth that needs to cover their body in white paste in order to avoid getting skin cancer from the sun. For thousands of years, humans were the same way, living alongside the sun and embracing it. Then somewhere along the way, it was ‘determined’ that the sun gives us cancer – a notion that has since become widely adopted. 🤯It makes no sense. In reality, it is the exact opposite. It is not prolonged sun exposure without sunscreen that gives you cancer, but instead, LACK of sun exposure and/or TOO MUCH chemical slop sunscreen lathered into your skin.

There's good reason to believe that a higher protein intake is better for not only body composition and weight loss but also for general health and longevity. 📣Here are the benefits of diets with more protein: •Protein has many vital roles in your body, such as promoting tissue repair, stimulating enzymatic processes and transporting nutrients. It increases metabolic rate, making it easier to lose weight, and supports the functioning of all organs. •Eating more protein helps with appetite suppression and satiety by increasing the production of certain hormones like peptide YY and GLP-1973. It also reduces ghrelin, the hunger hormone for several hours. •Higher protein intake during dieting promotes weight loss, helps to maintain more muscle and keeps the metabolic rate up. Compared with standard weight loss diets with normal protein and low-fat intake, high protein diets have been found to be more effective. •Combined with resistance training, higher protein intake increases muscle growth and strength gains. However, more protein will not make you build exponentially more muscle beyond a certain threshold. Current research has seen that limit being around 0.8-1.0 grams of protein per pound of lean body mass. •Adequate protein intake prevents muscle loss or sarcopenia, frailty and dependence on care taking later in life. It's observed that muscle atrophy starts to occur even after the third decade of your life, with a 30-50% decrease between the ages of 40- 80. Most of the reduction in muscle mass has to do with a lack of resistance training but a slightly higher protein intake can alleviate some these negative consequences. •Higher animal protein intake promotes bone health and reduces the risk of hip fractures in old people. Falling and breaking bones is one of the biggest concerns related to aging because it predisposes to physical inactivity and further muscle loss, which in turn predisposes to diabetes and other metabolic disorders. •Higher protein diets can speed up the healing of wounds caused by surgery, injury or bedsores. In this context, intakes above 2.0g/kg increases the absolute rate of body protein synthesis. ⚡Consider to focus your meals around high protein food to achieve a healthy life.

🥩 Humans evolved to eat meat. You cannot replace multiple superfoods with lab-based alternatives and expect the same result. Here's why: 🗿Early humans didn't eat meat. Then 2.5+ million years ago, the human diet changed from plants to animal proteins. With that came an increase in consciousness. 🧠You can see it in the size and structure of our brains: - Homo sapiens: animals - Sahelanthropus tchadensis: plants Homo sapiens were the next step in evolution. 👤Back then some hunter-gatherer tribes ate 60% meat. Yet they experienced none of the modern diseases we face today such as obesity, heart disease, or tooth decay. 🕰Moving forward to the 19th century: Meat-heavy diets were common and were a status symbol. They ate a lot more red meat, eggs, butter, and salt then what's considered healthy by the "health experts" today. Yet they stayed effortlessly lean. 🏃‍♂️Our ancestors had much higher basal metabolic rates (BMR). The average man weighed 155 pounds. Yet they ate 3k calories and were lean. Remember, BMR is before any exercise occurs. Yet they were lean and healthy... So what happened? A shift away from animal foods and fats. ❗️More vegetable oils. 🧊In the 1920-30s researchers looked at the Inuit people. The reports were that they had excellent health "despite their high-meat diet". But what if it was because of their diet? 🥩Look at how nutrient-dense a ribeye is. What other food group can provide this many nutrients? The answer is none. The core of a healthy diet is getting back to the foods that allowed humans to evolve and making this the core of your diet. Something like this: - Red meat 🥩 - Fish 🎣 - Eggs 🥚 - Honey 🍯 - Fruits 🍇 Not something like this. - Canola oil - Sunflower oil - Soy - Pea protein - Methylcellulose - Sunflower lecithin A laundry list of ingredients. 🚨Humans are meant to eat meat.

7 golden rules for getting rid of belly fat forever: 1. Stop drinking alcohol 🍾 Alcohol affects hormones that control appetite, hunger & stress. It's also high in empty calories making it more likely to increase your abdominal fat. Want a slim belly? Live a sober life. 2. Match your carbohydrate intake to your activity levels ⚡️ Carbs are fuel for performance. If you're largely sedentary then eat less of them. If you're an active person then eat more of them. Carbs are a tool for energy. Match them to fit your lifestyle. 3. Use the Lean Body Water System🚰 Drink water upon waking. Drink water before & after meals. Don't drink water while eating meals. Drink water between meals instead of snacking This helps you stay fuller throughout the day, which prevents you from eating. 4. Eat a protein rich single ingredient nutrient dense diet 🥩 Eat .8 to 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight. Aim to get 90% of your calories from whole unprocessed sources. Protein is satiating & whole foods contain more healthy fats, which will help you feel fuller longer. 5. Use the gym to gain muscle 🏋️‍♂️ Cardio doesn't burn as many calories as you think. Yet weight training helps you build muscle, which increases your metabolic rate & helps you burn fat in your sleep. Instead of jumping on a cardio machine to burn fat use weights for that job. 6. Manage your stress levels 🤕 When you live a high stress life your body produces more cortisol. This increases the accumulation of fat around your belly by increasing your appetite causing you to eat more. To battle stress take walks & spend time in nature. In short, recover. 7. Prioritize quality sleep 🛌 Lack of sleep increases your appetite, ruins your energy levels & increases hunger. Studies show that people who sleep 5.5 hours or less a night eat an extra 385 calories or more a day. Want a smaller belly? Get better sleep. Bonus - Eat less trans fats 🍔 Trans fats have been linked to inflammation, insulin resistance & abdominal fat gain. They are found in foods like margarine, chips & fried foods. Make sure to look at the labels of the foods you eat & avoid foods containing trans fats. 🚨Excess stomach fat is dangerous to a healthy body Follow these rules to start trimming your belly.

What's the difference between grass and grain-fed beef? 🔑Here are the key takeaways: The study compared nutrient levels for different farming methods: - Organic (Grass-fed) - Conventional (Grain-fed) What did they find? One of the first things to note: The nutrition facts only show 13 nutrients! But there are 100-1000s of bioactive compounds that can impact human metabolism and health. These include phytochemicals, fatty acids, and peptides. 1. More Vitamin A and E ✅ Grass-fed meat had more Vitamin A and E compared to conventional raised meat they studied. These vitamins act as antioxidants and have numerous health benefits. 2. More Vitamins B2 and B3 ✅ B3 can be specifically important for turning over cholesterol and keeping it from being too high. Could this be why they blame high cholesterol on eating meat? 3. Grass-fed had more phytochemicals ✅ These are produced from sunlight in the plants that the animals eat and are incorporated into the meat. Phytochemicals: -Antioxidant -Anti-bacterial -Anti-inflammatory 4. More phytochemicals ✅ When you look into the specific phytochemicals, you can see the difference is pretty significant. Some grain-fed samples lack any. 5. More plant metabolites ✅ Cows on grass had much higher levels of secondary metabolites. The middle group was fed hay, with the corn only being the least. This shows that hay likely has more nutritional value than corn. 6. More Nutrients- Zinc - Iron - Potassium - Phosphorus SOM = Soil Pasture > Corn for animals 7. Less B5, equal B6 ✅ Grain-fed had more B5 and the same amount of B6. This makes sense because B5 is rich in corn. 8. More Omega-3s ✅ To balance Omega 6s found in seed oils we want to eat more Omega-3s. Grass-fed animals are the perfect way to do this. To review: Grass-fed beef had significantly higher levels (2-4x) of beneficial nutrients like omega-3s, antioxidants (vitamin A/E, glutathione), and minerals (iron, zinc). 🔗Study Link: https://static1.squarespace.com/static/60aabaaa15c026765e2f39ce/t/652434be28abca698123d421/1696871625584/BI21008%2BRegen%2BMeat%2BMilk%2Bproject%2B+October+2023.pdf

Bloating is extremely common, but not normal🚨 Here is why you may be experiencing it, and what you can do about it: Bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) This is where there is an accumulation of bacteria in the small intestine, which interferes with our digestion. This can cause excess gas which leads to bloating, as well as other gut issues. A common side effect is immediately “feeling pregnant” after a meal. Low stomach acid We need adequate levels of stomach acid to properly break down our food and absorb nutrient. If we aren’t breaking down our food properly, it can cause major bloating and other gut issues. Food intolerances There are many to look out for, but some of the most common are gluten, poor quality dairy, high quantities of raw vegetables, legumes, corn and more. It’d be wise to try avoiding these for at least 1 month and see if your bloating improves. Gut dysbiosis This means there is an imbalance of good and bad bacteria in your gut, resulting in gut inflammation and other digestive issues. Having inflammation in the gut can be a major cause of bloating. IBS or IBD Both of these are very common, with IBD being more severe. These can be a result of a multitude of factors, but one of the most common side effects is severe bloating. Bacterial infection Parasites, pathogens and fungal overgrowth are common causes of GI issues, and can be a major factor in bloating. Eating too fast Digestion begins in the mouth, where chewing and salivary enzymes breaks down our food. If we are eating too fast, it less time our food is exposed to these enzymes, making it harder to digest food. If you are dealing with bloating, here are some things you can do: 1. Eat slowly & mindfully 2. Avoid gluten, poor quality dairy, legumes, seed oils, raw vegetables for 1 month 3. If eating grains, switch to sprouted, organic ones 4. Eat smaller portions 5. Go for a walk after a meal Some other things that can be helpful (this depends on your unique situation, not medical advice) 1. Peppermint or ginger tea 2. Supplement digestive enzymes 3. Fermented foods
