Iranian President Raisi's crashed helicopter didn't have proper signal system, senior Turkish official reveals. We also monitor the signals of all air and sea vehicles. At first, we followed whether the helicopter transmitted a signal or not. Unfortunately, the signal system of the helicopter was turned off or the helicopter did not have that signal system. Surely those signals would have been detected by us, but there weren’t any.

The Iranian President's helicopter that crashed was unfit to fly - open data analyst Julian Röpke. The journalist himself pilots small planes as an amateur pilot.
