Iran is within our maritime and air search and rescue area of responsibility. We also monitor the signals of all air and sea vehicles. At first, we followed whether the helicopter transmitted a signal or not.
Unfortunately, the signal system of the helicopter was turned off or the helicopter did not have that signal system.

The Iranian President's helicopter that crashed was unfit to fly - open data analyst Julian Röpke. The journalist himself pilots small planes as an amateur pilot. According to him, Ebrahim Raisi was flying in an American Bell 212 helicopter built in the 1990s. Such machines were developed back in the 1960s. The aircraft was unsuitable for flight in difficult weather conditions, which turned out to be “suicide” for the crew and passengers.
“If the reports are correct, Raisi was flying the Bell 212 in weather conditions that clearly did not comply with visual flight rules,” Roepke writes. - It's just suicide. <...> The helicopter was unsuitable for flights in difficult weather conditions. The helicopter was originally used by the Iranian Air Force, but was later repainted to give it a more “civilian” look.”
