I vividly remember my first day at school. I woke up really excited and couldn’t sit still because I was thinking about all the new things I would do. Getting ready was a big deal. My mom helped me put on my new school uniform. It felt a bit stiff, but it made me feel grown-up. My parents were excited too. Looking back, I see it was a big moment for them, marking the start of my school journey. When we got to the school, I felt both amazed and nervous. The building looked huge, and there were so many kids, all talking and laughing. I held my parents’ hands tightly as we walked to my classroom. Meeting my teacher was one of the best parts of the day. She was a kind lady with a warm smile that made me feel calm right away. She greeted each of us with kindness and patience, making the classroom feel welcoming. The classroom activities were fun. We started with a drawing exercise where we had to draw our families. It was interesting to see how each kid drew their family. Lunchtime was also memorable. I had a packed lunch and felt a bit nervous about opening it, wondering if I’d have anything in common with the other kids. But once we started eating, we talked easily, and I felt more comfortable. Recess was a lot of fun. We played games, and I especially enjoyed playing tag with some new friends. The playground was full of laughter, and it felt great to run around after being in the classroom. By the end of the day, I felt both tired and happy. Looking back on the day, I realized how much I had enjoyed it and how quickly my nervousness had gone away. My parents were eager to hear all about my day, and I was excited to share every detail with them.
