Thus, the guaranteed dividend coverage has dropped from 7 years to 14 months. According to CryptoQuant analysts, the company needs to stop buying bitcoins and restore cash reserves.

The Ethereum Foundation has announced a large-scale reorganization and presented an updated management structure. At the same time, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin announced that the organization is reducing its budget by about 40%, moving to a long-term capital management model.

Virell Trade has launched Stabliq Wallet, a non—custodial crypto wallet for working with stablecoins on the Ethereum and TRON networks. The main function of the application is to pay network fees in stablecoins without having to hold a native token. There are two modes available when creating a wallet: • Gasless — transaction fees are debited in stablecoin; • Standard — the commission is paid with the native token of the network. The stablecoin commission payment mode is still working on the Ethereum network. The application supports multiple accounts, importing wallets using a seed phrase and a private key, an address book, transaction history, adding user tokens, and QR code transfers. The wallet is available in the App Store and Google Play.

Over the past 30 days, the Sky Protocol has purchased 18.6 million of SKY's own tokens on the open market for $1.14 million USDS as part of the buyback program. Since the launch of the program in February 2025, the total treasury volume has exceeded $120 million.

In the second quarter, analysts counted 83 cryptographic protocol hacks, the most in the entire history of observations in terms of the number of incidents. The total damage amounted to $755.3 million. According to Unfolded and DeFiLlama, the largest attacks were the $293 million KelpDAO hack and the $280 million Drift Protocol exploit. In the cross-chain bridge segment, the damage amounted to $351 million, of which 38% was due to the incident with the LayerZero OFT bridge. Another 37% is for compromising admin access and manipulating token prices. Theft of private keys took a smaller share — 5.66%.
