Windows আপনার সকল তথ্য Microsoft এর কাছে পাঠিয়ে দেয়। একে তো আপনি টাকা দিয়ে OS কিনছেন তার উপরে আপনার Data ও তারা ব্যবহার করছে। এই Data গুলোকে বলে " Telemetry "। লিনাক্সে এইসব তথ্য আপনার কম্পিউটারের বাইরে পাঠানো হয়না। যেহেতু লিনাক্স Open-Source তাই যদি তথ্য চুরি করার মতো Software থেকেও থাকে তাহলে সাথে সাথে সবার চোখে পড়ে যায়। যেমন Ubuntu এর ক্ষেত্রে হয়েছিলো যে কারণে অনেকেই এখন Ubuntu কে সাপোর্ট করেনা। একটা জিনিস আপনার পছন্দ হলে এবং আপনার সামর্থ্য থাকলে আপনি নিজে থেকেই টাকা Donate করবেন। লিনাক্সে আপনাকে Pirate করে চুরি করে কিছু চালাতে হবেনা সব Free এবং চাইলেই Developer দের কিছু টাকা Donate করে Support করতে পারবেন। কিন্তু সেটা আপনার ব্যাক্তিগত ইচ্ছা। আপনি না চাইলে কেউ আপনাকে কিছু বলবেনা আপনি স্বাধীন। এই মনোভাব নিয়েই Linux Community চলে এবং আমার মনেহয় সকল Software ই এমন হওয়া উচিত। এছাড়াও লিনাক্সের অনেক App যেমন "Timeshift" এর মাধ্যমে আপনি আপনার পুরো System এর Snapshot বানিয়ে রাখতে পারবেন Backup হিসেবে। যার ফলে আপনি পুরো System ই আপনি ডিলিট করে দেন তাও ফিরিয়ে আনা সম্ভব!! আরো রয়েছে "KDE Connect" যার মাধ্যমে আপনার PC এর সাথে ফোন Connect করতে পারবেন এবং File sharing, Clipboard sharing, Notification sharing থেকে শুরু করে Phone দিয়ে PC control ও করতে পারবেন। সাথে আপনার সাধারণ প্রায় সব Windows App তো চলবেই। Steam এর মাধ্যমে Gaming ও করতে পারবেন। আমি আপনাদেরকে নিচে কয়েকটা লিংক দিলাম যা দেখে দেখে আপনার পছন্দের Distro নির্বাচন করে নিজেই মিনিটের ভিতর Install  করতে পারবেন। Star দিয়ে বোঝালাম একজন Beginner এর জন্য কোনটা কতো বেশি উপযোগী। এর মানে এই না একটা খারাপ বা একটা ভালো। সবশেষে Linux Community তে আপনাকে স্বাগতম জানাচ্ছি। 1.
