ሥራህን ለእግዚአብሔር አደራ ስጥ | ምሳሌ 16፥3 To “commit” literally means to “roll your works upon the Lord,” meaning to trust and place everything we do into His hands. This includes our actions, plans, desires, and undertakings. But committing our plans to God means more than asking Him to bless our own decisions. It means surrendering the outcome to His will and trusting His wisdom, saying, “Thy will be done.” Like Hannah, we can bring our desires before God and then leave the outcome in His hands. When we do this, God establishes our plans according to His purpose. Though He existed in the very nature of God, He didn't cling selfishly to His position and privileges. Instead, He willingly humbled Himself, took on human nature, and became a servant to those He created. His humility went even further as He became obedient to death, even death on a cross, though He was completely sinless. He gave His life for the sake of others, bearing the penalty for the sins of the world. Yet His humiliation was followed by exaltation. God raised Him from the dead and gave Him the name above every name, so that every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. ስለ ትዕቢትና ትሕትና ከምሳሌ መጽሐፍ ምን እንማራለን? | ምሳሌ 11:2 & ምሳሌ 16:18 Pride is one of the most destructive sins because it turns the heart toward self-exaltation. Scripture repeatedly shows that pride leads to destruction, while humility leads to wisdom. What makes pride especially dangerous is how easily we recognize it in others while overlooking it in ourselves. Yet God sees even the smallest beginning of pride in our hearts. True wisdom begins with humility and a willingness to see ourselves rightly before God rather than seeking to exalt ourselves. Humility is not weakness but it is wisdom. It is better to remain lowly in our own eyes and walk humbly with God than to pursue the recognition and status of the proud. The proud heart seeks to lift itself up, but self-exaltation never stands forever. እግዚአብሔርን መፍራት | ምሳሌ 9፥10 The fear of the Lord is the foundation and beginning of all true wisdom, just as Proverbs 1:7 declares. Reverence for God is not merely one aspect of wisdom—it is its essential starting point. Apart from the covenant God, genuine wisdom is impossible, for true understanding cannot be separated from the One who is the source of all truth. This verse therefore rejects the idea that wisdom or morality can ultimately exist apart from God. Though the scorner may boast of advanced knowledge and pride himself on living without godly restraint, real wisdom is found only in the fear of the Lord, and true understanding comes through the knowledge of the Holy One. This knowledge is far more than intellectual awareness; it is a living relationship with God that gives meaning, direction, and purpose to life. Without the knowledge of God, life is reduced to mere existence, ending only in spiritual darkness. God's call to wisdom is an expression of His grace and love, not because He stands in need of man. Those who respond to Wisdom do so for their own benefit, not His. While God delights in the blessing and joy of His children, His invitation is entirely for their good, leading them into life and understanding. Conversely, if the scorner refuses Wisdom and persists in his foolish course, God is not the loser. The consequences of rejecting His counsel fall upon the scorner alone, whose folly will ultimately be revealed both in this life and in the life to come.

በእግዚአብሔር መንገድ መቆዬት | ምሳሌ 4:25-27 Having urged us to guard our hearts, Solomon now exhorts us to guard our eyes and feet, for our walk reveals the condition of our hearts. The eye is to be fixed on the goal, looking straight ahead without distraction. For the Christian, that goal is Christ. Just as a plowman cuts a straight furrow by fixing his eyes on a point directly before him, so the believer walks the path of righteousness by keeping the eyes of the heart fixed on the Lord Jesus. This requires careful attention to our ways, so that every step is established according to God's truth. We are not to swerve from the path of wisdom by turning either to the right or to the left. Throughout Scripture this expression describes steadfast obedience to God's revealed will, without being distracted by personal desires, worldly ideas, or human opinions. Once the mind of God is known through His Word, it is to be obeyed faithfully and without compromise. To walk with God often means being misunderstood or misjudged by those who do not value His truth. Yet the believer's concern is not the approval of people but the approval of God. Rather than consulting flesh and blood, the wise person responds with humble and wholehearted obedience to what God has spoken, keeping his feet from evil and continuing steadfastly in the way of wisdom.

ልብህን ጠብቅ | ምሳሌ 4፥23 This verse emphasizes the supreme importance of guarding the heart. In Scripture, the heart does not refer merely to the physical organ but to the inner person; the mind, will, affections, and the whole personality. It is the wellspring of life, the source from which our thoughts, words, choices, and actions flow. Just as the physical heart is the center of the body's life, so the spiritual heart is the center of a person's moral and spiritual life. Whatever fills the heart will inevitably shape the course of life. A heart corrupted by sin leads to destruction, but a heart guarded by God's wisdom produces spiritual health, strength, and godly living. For this reason, the heart must be guarded more carefully than anything else. Circumstances do not ultimately determine the quality of our lives; what matters most is the condition of our hearts before God. As wisdom preserves the heart from corruption, it enables the believer to live with true joy, spiritual vigor, and a life that honors God. From a well-guarded heart flow the issues of life.
