السلام عليكم يا شباب المعلومات الى بتاجى فى الاسئلة على ثالث محاضرة اناتومى ‼️📢المحاضرة كلها مهمة بس دى المعلومات الى فى الأسئلة ▪️larynx extend from the third to sixth cervical vertebra ▪️laryngeal skeleton consists of nine cartilage 3 single (thyroid ,cricoid,epiglottis) 3 paired (arytenoid ,corniculate ,cuneiform) وهنا بيسأل يقول مثلا all of the following is paired except وهكذا  ▪️cricoid --->signet ring appearance & at the level of C6 ▪️thyroid ---> largest cartilage ▪️epiglottis ---->elastic cartilage ▪️Corniculate ---> hyaline cartilage ▪️joints of the larynx is synovial joints ▪️the free borders of quadrangular membrane are vestibular fold (false vocal cord)& aryepiglottic fold ▪️false vocal cords form the lower border of quadrangular membrane ▪️vocal folds form the upper border of cricothyroid (cricovocal)membrane ▪️thyrohyoid membrane is pierced by internal laryngeal nerve and superior laryngeal vessels ▪️suprahyoid muscles (mylohyoid ,stylohyoid ,digastric)elevators ▪️infrahyoid (sternohyoid,sternothyroid,thyrohyoid )depressors except thyrohyoid ▪️thyrohyoid has similar action as suprahyoid muscles ▪️Cricoarytenoid muscle ---> muscle of life + abductor muscle ▪️Adductor muscles ---> lateral cricoarytenoid ,transverse and oblique arytenoids ▪️Adductor muscles antagonize the action of posterior cricoarytenoid muscle ▪️the main adductor muscle ----> lateral cricoarytenoid ▪️vagus nerve is the  nerve supply of the larynx as motor and sensory ▪️Lesion of internal laryngeal nerve ---> loss of sensory innervation of upper half of the pharynx ▪️lesion of recurrent laryngeal nerve ----> loss of sensory innervation of the lower half of the larynx (below the vocal cord)and loss of motor innervation of all laryngeal muscles except cricothyroid ▪️lesion of external laryngeal nerve --->loss of motor innervation of cricothyroid muscle leads to loss of high pitched sound ▪️lesion of superior laryngeal nerve ----> loss of motor innervation of cricothyroid muscle and sensory innervation of the upper half of the larynx ▪️the larynx is supplied by the branches of  external carotid and subclavian artery ▪️ Upper part of the larynx is supplied by superior laryngeal artery (from superior thyroid) ▪️lower part of the larynx is supplied by inferior laryngeal artery (from inferior thyroid ) ‼️بقول تانى المحاضرة كلها تتذاكر لكن دى الافكار الى فى الاسئلة
