‏كتاب العلم (ص٢٣) Ash-Shaykh Ibn Al-‘Uthaymīn rahimahullāh said: “It is without a doubt that seeking knowledge is from the most virtuous actions, rather it is from jihād in the path of Allāh, especially in our time when innovations are starting to appear, spread and increase in the Islamic community. Ignorance has begun from those looking to give fatwā without Knowledge, and disputes have started from many people. https://t.me/Gardensofknowledge

Ash-Shaykh Muqbil bin Hādī Al-Wādi’ī rahimahullāh said: “What is easier than you memorising words; so and so is a hizbī (partisan), so and so is an infiltrator and you repeat them from this sitting to that sitting. Rather, what I want from you is to start with the memorisation of the Qurān and memorising that which you are able to memorise from the ahādīth of Allāh’s messenger and likewise the Arabic language. And if you were to busy yourselves with the memorisation of the Qurān and acquiring beneficial knowledge, you wouldn’t find time for this speech”. (Ghāratul Ashritah, 2/41)
