‏ أَحْكَامُ القُرْآنِ (٤٧٣/٤) Abū Bakr Ibn Al-‘Arabī rahimahullāh said: “And indeed the ummah of Muhammad has been given from virtue that which no ummah has been given as long as they lived, and from that virtue is laylatul qadr”. From the supplications of our messenger: … I ask You for the delight of gazing upon Your Face, and the joy of meeting You, without any harm and misleading trials befalling me.

(الدرر السنية - ٨/٣٩٩) Shaykh Muhammad bin ‘Abdilwahhāb rahimahullāh said: “And know that from the rights of brotherhood for the sake of Allāh is that you continuously supplicate for your brothers at times when supplications are answered.” Ad-Durar As-Saniyyah (8/399) https://t.me/Gardensofknowledge

Can laylatul Qadr fall on an even night? That which we know regarding this blessed night is that: ⏹️ It’s in the month of Ramadhān ⏹️ The last 10 to be more specific ⏹️ It is hoped to be within the odd nights ⏹️ Some narrations hinted at it occurring on specific nights during the time of the prophet (such as the 21st - Hadīth of Abī Sa’īd). ⏹️ Some companions would swear by Allāh that it was on the 27th night. Taking all the above into consideration, it is to be understood that laylatul qadr is more likely to occur on an odd night. This does not mean that it cannot occur on an even night. Al-Bukhārī reported in his sahīh on the authority of Ibn ‘Abbās (may Allāh be pleased with him and his father) that the prophet said ﷺ ‎الْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ: فِي تَاسِعَةٍ تَبْقَى فِي سَابِعَةٍ تَبْقَى فِي خَامِسَةٍ تَبْقَى. “Seek lailat al-qadr in the last ten nights of Ramadhān, when nine nights remain, when seven remain, when five remain” When looking at this Hadīth, we should look at it from two different scenarios. 1: If the month ends with 30 days. 2: If the month ends with 29 days. If the month ends on 30 days, then when nine remain, this would be the 22nd night and when seven remain would be the 24th and so on. What we should take from this Hadīth is to strive throughout these 10 nights so that we attain the virtue of the blessed night of decree. https://t.me/Gardensofknowledge

The Shaykh, ‘Abdullāh Al-Qusayr has passed away. The shaykh was from the senior students of Shaykh Ibn Bāz rahimahullāh. We ask Allāh that He forgives him, has mercy upon him, raises his rank in Jannah and allow for his works to be a continuous charity for him.
