🤡Putin voiced his proposals for a "peaceful settlement" of the war against Ukraine. He said that the conditions for the "end of the conflict" are: Ukraine withdrawing its troops from the territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions, refusing to join NATO, has a neutral and non-nuclear status, and international sanctions against Russia should be lifted. If these conditions are met, he said, Russia is ready to cease fire "immediately." This is not the first time Putin has publicly stated his alleged readiness for negotiations but under certain conditions. In particular, he said this in an interview with the Chinese news agency Xinhua in May. Ukraine, in turn, demands the restoration of its territorial integrity and the complete withdrawal of Russian troops. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry viewed Putin's recent statements as "a desperate attempt to disrupt the peace summit in Switzerland." Both Ukraine and its partners have repeatedly stated that they currently see no signs of Putin's desire to stop the aggression. 🪐 Subscribe to Live: Ukraine
