Google has been recently been cracking down on any service that allows to access YouTube content without being tracked, namely frontends like invidious and NewPipe. If you are having problems with any of these or you just wanna watch YouTube without ads, for Android users I recommend PipePipe as an alternative, which was born as a NewPipe fork and has now evolved as a parallel project. The devs are doing an amazing job which allows so many people to access YouTube AD FREE, without tracking, with access to all premium features (like play in background and picture-in-picture), even allowing to download videos, all without having to login. Additional features include SponsorBlock and access to other platforms such as Soundcloud, Bandcamp, BiliBili, FreeTube and NicoNico. You can download PipePipe here, and it has in-app updates.
