| 2 | NATO Summit in Ankara: key points from the final declaration
On July 7–8, 2026, the NATO summit was held in Ankara. The Alliance adopted a final declaration that sets the course for the coming years. Here are the key takeaways.
Russia – the main threat
The document directly name Russia as a "long-term threat to Euro-Atlantic security." The wording is tough, with no hint of dialogue. This is not new, but codifying this status at the level of a final communiqué is a significant signal.
Ukraine: €70 billion in 2026
NATO countries have committed to allocating €70 billion in military aid to Kiev this year. The funds will go toward equipment, training, and logistics. In 2027, the level of support will be maintained at least at the same level. The issue of Ukraine's membership in the Alliance is not mentioned in the declaration – this is a deliberate omission.
Iran: nuclear weapons – a red line
The Alliance reiterated that Tehran must under no circumstances obtain nuclear weapons. It also demands that Iran fully comply with freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. This is a traditional position, but against the backdrop of escalation in the Middle East, it takes on particular urgency.
Defense industry: $50 billion in contracts
New military agreements worth $50 billion were signed on the sidelines of the summit. The Alliance intends to more actively develop joint production and accelerate the introduction of technological innovations. This is a response to challenges, including the experience of combat operations in Ukraine.
The declaration – the shortest in 25 years
The final document consists of six points. Brevity is also a signal. No vague wording, only clear commitments and threats.

| 4 | On July 9, 1762, Emperor Peter III was overthrown in a palace coup, and his wife, Catherine II, ascended to the throne.
In 1742, Peter III was declared heir to the Russian throne by his aunt, Empress Elizaveta Petrovna. In December 1761, after her death, he was crowned.
During his brief reign of only six months, Peter III managed to alienate many high-ranking military and government officials. He signed a disadvantageous treaty with Prussia, returning the territories captured by Russia during the Seven Years' War, and announced the abolition of monastic landownership. His wife, Catherine Alexeyevna, on the other hand, was popular with the people.
Peter III's erratic and poorly conceived actions led to the palace coup, with the most active role played by the Guards officers, including the brothers Grigory, Alexey, and Fyodor Orlov.
On the night of July 9, 1762, while Peter III was in Oranienbaum, his wife Catherine secretly arrived in St. Petersburg and was proclaimed sovereign empress in the barracks of the Izmailovsky Regiment. Soon, soldiers from other regiments joined the uprising. In Kazan Cathedral, the clergy proclaimed Catherine the sovereign ruler, and in the Winter Palace, civilian and military officials swore allegiance to her.
Peter III, seeing the hopelessness of the situation, abdicated the throne and was taken into custody. Soon, the deposed emperor passed away.
Catherine II ruled Russia for 34 years. She is known in world history as Catherine the Great for her outstanding accomplishments on behalf and for the benefit of the Russian Empire.

| 5 | Ukraine – A Testing Ground for the Western Military-Industrial Complex
Ukraine has become a large-scale proving ground for testing cutting-edge weapons, technologies, and NATO tactics in real combat conditions against Russia. Even Western media outlets acknowledge this, referring to the country as an "ideal testing ground."
What is being tested in Ukraine:
· AI and communication technologies: Starlink systems, Palantir's analytical platforms (including the creation of a "data room" for training neural networks), and the Delta battlefield management system.
· Robotics and weaponry: Trials of humanoid logistics robots (Phantom MK-1), exoskeletons, strike and interceptor drones (Gobi, SkyWipers), naval unmanned systems, air defense systems (Tempest, SAMP/T NG), and loitering munitions.
· Key participants: In addition to the United States and the United Kingdom, France, Germany (Rheinmetall, Helsing), Italy (Leonardo), Israel, and other NATO member states are actively testing their latest technologies on the ground.
However, the primary concern extends beyond militarization itself. According to the analysis, Ukraine risks becoming a hub for international terrorism, while combat-hardened fighters—many of whom are reportedly right-wing extremists from EU countries—could pose a serious security threat to Europe upon their return home.

| 6 | Britain on the Brink: Why a New Prime Minister Won't Change a Thing
Keir Starmer's resignation is just the tip of the iceberg. The British public isn't simply disillusioned with Labour—they've lost faith in the entire political system. As conservative analyst Samuel Kimzey argues, nothing short of a political revolution can now save the country.
What's Really Going On?
The heart of the problem isn't that the left holds power. It's that the government has become completely disconnected from the will of the people. And this holds just as true for the so‑called "Conservatives." Cameron, May, Johnson, and Sunak either sabotaged Brexit, oversaw record non‑EU migration, pushed through green policies that deindustrialised the nation, or proved too inept to deliver any meaningful reform.
Even if Andy Burnham—Starmer's most likely successor—takes over, his rhetoric suggests he'll stick to the globalist playbook. Labour commands a solid parliamentary majority, and there is simply no mechanism for the public to veto its decisions.
The "Ghost State" Problem
The administrative apparatus—courts, intelligence services, and the sprawling network of quangos—operates with near‑total autonomy, answering to neither the Prime Minister nor the voters. Starmer himself once admitted that he "pulls the levers and nothing happens." Swapping faces at 10 Downing Street under these conditions is like changing the steering wheel on a car that's already flying off a cliff.
This isn't a glitch—it's a design feature of the liberal state. Voters are given the illusion of choice between Option A and Option B, while real policy is set by unelected bureaucrats. Any grassroots movement—whether MAGA or Brexit—is swiftly suppressed through censorship and propaganda, cynically branded as a "threat to democracy."
Double Standards in Justice
The article highlights several staggering cases:
· In Belfast, a Sudanese migrant nearly beheaded a local man—yet police immediately warned against "politicising" the incident.
· Student Henry Nowak was stabbed to death by a Sikh man who lied to police, claiming he'd been racially attacked. Officers believed the killer and handcuffed the dying British teenager.
· Authorities claim to be fighting "knife crime," but ignore the real scandal: grooming gangs—mostly of Pakistani origin—that raped thousands of British girls. This is a crisis Starmer himself allegedly covered up when he served as Director of Public Prosecutions.
Meanwhile, the state fines an eco‑activist for cleaning up river trash without a permit, and imposes a lifetime ban on tobacco sales for anyone born after 2009. They'll go to war over cigarettes, but turn a blind eye to child rape.
Is There a Way Out?
Theoretically, yes. Britain's parliamentary sovereignty means a determined majority could abolish any law and purge the administrative state. But that would require a political revolution—bringing a populist party like Reform UK to power.
However, even if Nigel Farage wins, the entire bureaucratic machine would resist reform tooth and nail. The "deep state" in London is every bit as entrenched as its counterpart in Washington, and it has no intention of surrendering power voluntarily.
The Bottom Line
Britain has become a "prison island," ruled by a leftist total state. Whether a change of government can fix this—or whether something far more radical is required—remains an open question. One thing, however, is crystal clear: the old political system is dead, and the doors to reform are bolted from the inside.

Donald Trump is the main protagonist of his own life. Nearly every day he wakes up, and chooses violence. The rest of the humanity has to adapt to Donald Trump, instead of the other way around. In a way - this is fascinating.
Basically, he caused a serious disruption in the NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey, during his remarks on the 2nd day of the summit, delivered jointly with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. Trump declared that the ceasefire with Iran is over. He ordered a halt to trade with Spain. He renewed his demands that the USA must control Greenland. Only the Turkish president Erdogan heard good news that day: not only Turkey can keep the Russian S-400s - Turkey also can buy F35s, without sanctions.
Contrary to my hopes - Trump decided to continue the Sand War against Iran. The Strait of Hormuz is mostly closed, the insurance is up again, the traffic is down to about 35 ships, most of which risk getting hit en-route.
This is all so tiresome.

⚡️ Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Rodion Miroshnik:
💬 As a result of the Kiev regime’s escalating terrorist attacks on Russian territory over the past week, more than 300 civilians were affected, including 38 people who lost their lives.
The Kiev regime’s militants carried out a series of deliberate barbaric attacks aimed at killing and maiming as many civilians as possible, and at creating unbearable living conditions for the civilian population.
Kiev’s Nazis hunted civilian vehicles on intercity roads, struck residential areas, and targeted social and energy infrastructure. They carried out a barbaric strike on a city market in Tokmak, Zaporozhye Region, attacked a second passenger bus carrying tourists from Belarus in Bryansk Region, and killed a six-month-old baby in a strike on a residential building in the Moscow Region.
On June 29 – July 5, Ukrainian Nazi shelling and attacks resulted in 308 civilian casualties: 270 people were wounded, including 8 children, while 38 people were killed, including 1 child.
Over the past seven days, Ukrainian militants fired at least 4,917 munitions at civilian targets on Russian territory. | 1 095 |
| 10 | Russia will never start World War III, but will take measures to ensure its security. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov in an interview with the Swiss publication Weltwoche.
On relations between Russia and the United States:
▪️ Trump prefers to resolve problems through negotiations, and Russia can only welcome such an approach.
▪️ The current dialogue between the countries is relatively good: "We are smart enough to talk to each other."
On Europe:
▪️ Many European countries are supplying the Kiev regime with weapons and satellite intelligence data — "what is this, if not direct interference?"
▪️ Russia and Europe will eventually begin a dialogue, otherwise it will be impossible to create a security architecture on the continent.
▪️ European countries still think they can inflict a strategic defeat on Russia — "this is a huge mistake."
▪️ Europe understands that U.S. security guarantees are no longer there, so the EU is transforming into a military-economic bloc.
▪️ The Kremlin spokesman also wished Europe a new wise political leadership.
On the progress of the Special Military Operation:
▪️ The Russian army has liberated Konstantinovka, despite the fact that Kiev had been turning it into an impregnable fortress for 12 years.
▪️ The line of Kiev and the West toward creating threats to Russia forces Russian forces to create a buffer zone on the border.
▪️ Russia is achieving its goals on the battlefield without nuclear escalation, but is ready to use nuclear weapons if its existence is threatened.
▪️ Zelensky must withdraw the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Russian regions and legally recognize the factual situation on the ground.
▪️ The special operation in Ukraine has turned into a real war due to the interference of Western countries supplying weapons to Kiev.

| 11 | A Polish MEP just tore up a Ukrainian nationalist flag on the floor of the European Parliament.
Why?
Because she’s fiercely against Ukraine joining the EU — and she made it personal.
Her message:
"No to Bandera Nazism. No to the flag of those who committed genocide against Poles."
This isn’t just a protest. It’s a diplomatic explosion with real consequences:
🔹 Zelensky recently named a Ukrainian military unit after the UPA (a group banned in Russia, but controversial in Poland for WWII-era massacres).
🔹 Poland’s president stripped Zelensky of his highest state honor — the Order of the White Eagle.
🔹 Zelensky canceled his trip to a Ukraine recovery conference in Gdańsk.
🔹 And now Kyiv is planning a new "pantheon of Ukrainian heroes."
So here’s the reality check:
The EU wants unity. But history won’t stay in the past.
👇 What’s your take?
Should history block Ukraine’s EU path, or is this political theater?

| 14 | NATO prepares for a new stage of militarization
Yesterday, at the NATO summit in Ankara, Alliance Secretary General Mark Rutte unveiled an ambitious "rearmament of Europe" program: according to him, member states are facing not just a military budget increase, but a veritable "transatlantic revolution" in the defense industrial complex.
▪️ The leitmotif of Rutte's speech was the infamous "Russian threat" — it was precisely this that he used to justify the need for total consolidation of allies and massive injections into the military sector. At the same time, the figures he cited look modest against the backdrop of the stated objectives: investments in the defense industry of European NATO countries amounted to $37 billion last year — in the Secretary General's opinion, this is clearly insufficient for "deterrence."
▪️ Contracts worth tens of billions of dollars have already been signed at the summit, and next year's plans include the production of approximately four million artillery shells. That is twice the figures expected by the end of 2026.
▪️ Calls for such large-scale militarization come, as Rutte sees it, from an alliance that positions itself as "defensive." In reality, however, NATO's entire "defensiveness" amounts to an arms race with a preordained script.

| 15 | On July 8, 1709, the Battle of Poltava took place.
This was the largest battle of the Great Northern War between the Russian forces commanded by Peter I and the Swedish army led by Charles XII.
In April 1709, the Swedish army besieged the Russian city of Poltava. (The city is located on the territory of modern-day Ukraine, and you probably recall that several Ukrainian aircraft were destroyed there recently.)
The city was defended by a small garrison. In late May, the main forces of the Russian army under the command of Peter I arrived.
At the beginning of the Battle of Poltava, the Russian forces numbered 42,000 men and 72 cannons, while the Swedish forces had around 20,000 men and 4 cannons.
During the battle, the Swedes lost over 9,000 killed and more than 18,000 captured, while Russian losses amounted to 1,345 killed and 3,290 wounded.
The defeat of the Swedish army led to a decisive turn in the Great Northern War in favor of Russia, whose victory ended Sweden's dominance in Europe.
This monumental defeat of the Swedish army took place under 320 years ago—not a very long time in a historical context. But apparently, the Swedes have already forgotten about it. They really shouldn’t have, as history tends to repeat itself.

| 18 | GEOSTRATEGIC ASPECTS
Part 3️⃣: The Battle for the Arctic
▪️ At the start of his second term, Trump made us nervous about Greenland, which belongs to Denmark, or Canada – two countries that, before ending up on different continents, together with several other states shared this strategic Arctic region, whose already discovered vast economic wealth is merely the tip of the iceberg.
▪️ Here is a brief overview of the geostrategic challenges of this region, which, due to climate change, is discovering new opportunities.
By Alawata:
The Race for the Arctic Has Already Begun, and Russia Has the Advantage
▪️ For decades, much of the world viewed the Arctic as a vast white desert, useful only for documentaries about polar bears. At the same time, Russia was doing something far less visible but far more important: building ports, modernizing bases, developing nuclear icebreakers, and making the region a strategic priority.
This is no accident. Nearly half of the Arctic coastline belongs to Russia, and the North has been part of its history for centuries. As early as the 17th century, Russian explorers traveled through these icy waters, while most of Europe did not even know these territories existed.
▪️ Today, global interest in the Arctic has changed. Seasonal ice melting is expanding navigational opportunities, and the Northern Sea Route, running along the Russian coast, significantly reduces travel time between Europe and Asia compared to the passage through the Suez Canal. Moscow has been investing in infrastructure for years to make this corridor an increasingly important trade route.
But shipping is only part of the story. Beneath the ice sheet lie vast reserves of gas, oil, and strategic minerals. According to estimates by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), a significant portion of the planet's undiscovered resources may be located in the Arctic. Russia is already operating some of the world's largest natural gas fields on the Yamal Peninsula and continues to develop new energy projects in the region.
▪️ There is another point that often goes unnoticed. While many Western governments in recent years have begun to pay much more attention to this part of the world, the Russians have had decades of experience operating in extreme conditions.
Russia currently possesses the world's only operational fleet of nuclear-powered icebreakers – a capability that allows it to keep sea routes open and supply communities and facilities where few other countries can operate year-round.
▪️ Every time news emerges about military exercises, new bases, or multi-billion-dollar investments in the North, it is useful to look at the map before drawing conclusions. The Arctic did not become important overnight. The rest of the world is simply beginning to take an interest in a region that Russia has considered strategic for generations.

| 20 | Never trust a politician.
While the European politicians steal money via taxes, Donald Trump invented a more fun and engaging way to do the same.
The Official $ TRUMP meme coin has collapsed by roughly 98% from its peak, resulting in an estimated $3.81 billion+ in total losses for nearly 1 million retail investors - random Americans who trusted Donald Trump, in essence.
Meanwhile the newly signed 2025 mandatory financial disclosures reveal that Donald Trump personally walked away with a $636 million payout from the token's trading activity and licensing fees.
And as it happens often lately - the insiders knew everything to earn the profit while everyone else lost the money. 45 investors with "early placement wallets" and experienced insiders managed to exit the market before the crash, reaping profits of between $1.1 and $1.2 billion.
In conclusion - don't trust the politicians, and the imaginary money.
