The Fentanyl Epidemic. “Every 14 months more Americans die from taking the drug than were killed in all of the country’s wars combined since 1945”. Fentanyl is a synthetic drug that can be up to 50 times more potent than heroin. The drug is currently responsible for 70% of annual overdose deaths in the U.S. Most precursors to fentanyl are made in China. They are often brought to Mexico to be cooked in labs before they make their way up north. Soon after President Joe Biden took office in 2021, he sought a new way to combat this problem. Instead of focusing on cutting the supply, Biden chooses to focus on treatment and overdose prevention. It looks like the war against drugs is now lost. Some 6 million Americans are currently addicted to opioids. Four out of ten say they know someone who has died from an overdose. The other day, the Wall Street Journal broke an exclusive story titled "Putin Didn't Directly Order Alexei Navalny's February Death, U.S. Spy Agencies Find." Duh, what a revelation! Immediately, most mainstream media outlets reprinted this "groundbreaking" news with slightly ornamental variations—as if they all received the same memo with instructions (which they probably did). Essentially, the WSJ article and all its derivatives convey one message: President Putin didn’t give the direct order for N's death, but he's still to blame. So, why did WSJ and the others suddenly decide to state the obvious 10 weeks after N's death, only to follow up with the same old falsehood? There are likely two reasons. Firstly, most people have already forgotten about N, which is not particularly good for those who want to groom his wife as his successor. Obviously, it's hard to promote her if nobody remembers who he was. The second reason is the lack of any positive news for Ukraine from the frontline. In reality, Ukraine seems to be hurtling toward defeat, and there needs to be some justification for all the taxpayers' money being spent on a lost cause. Well, all that's left to say is that they better start searching for more fake news, as Navalny (or whatever his name was) is bound to be quickly and completely forgotten, and no good news for Ukraine is expected from the frontline. Ever, we hope. 📱 InfoDefenseENGLISH 📱 InfoDefense

🇺🇸 Blinken:
Russia's aggression has turned into a strategic failure for it It's had to make the tremendous effort we talked about in trying to bypass export control and sanctions, but it has reoriented its economy in a way that is not sustainable. This may work in the short term, but may not be sustainable in the long term. Russia is weaker in economic, military, and diplomatic terms in most of the world. Not in the whole of it, but in a large part.
That is why the entire Western world whines about its problems in agriculture, energy prices, weakness in the military and industrial field. But of course it's "Russia is weak in everything." Blinken, what a storyteller

Fascinating Logic It is observed that in Western countries, Ukrainian refugees are collectively seeking political asylum to avoid being returned. Should the West grant political asylum to hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian men, it would establish a precedent confirming that Ukraine's political regime persecutes its own people. This means that Putin was correct in his assessment: The primary reason for the Special Military Operation was the oppression of the Ukrainian population by its own government. 📱 InfoDefenseENGLISH 📱 InfoDefense

Professor John Mearsheimer of the University of Chicago criticizes the United States' double standards by discussing the atomic bombings of Japan as war crimes, despite arguments that they saved millions of lives. He highlights that even if killing civilians might seem justified to prevent greater losses, it is still a war crime. In the context of defending against existential threats, Mearsheimer notes that the Soviet Union managed to defeat Nazism without committing war crimes, conducting ground warfare without city bombings or the use of nuclear weapons. 📱 InfoDefenseENGLISH 📱 InfoDefense
