Malaria GENERAL PREVENTION:

1) ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION

🏊🏻 Elimination of the breeding sites of mosquito by filling of swamps, marches and small collection of water. 🐛 Eradication of larval stages by spraying crude oil and larvicides on water surface . 🦟 Destruction of adult mosquitoes by using suitable insecticides (liquid aerosol, pyrethrium). 2) HUMAN PROTECTION 🥷🏻 Using protective cloths. 🛁 Apply of repellents to exposed skin between dusk and dawn 🏃🏻 Avoid going outdoors and down when anopheline mosquitoes commonly bite. 🩸 Avoid taking blood from any individual giving history of malaria or a history of travel to malarious area. 🚪 Screening of windows and doors, using bed nets and animal barrier (تركب سبك باب و شباك) 👨🏻‍🏫 Health education of the public, at risk groups and travelers for the mode of transmission, protection from exposure and value of prophylaxis & treatment SPECIFIC PREVENTION:

1) CHEMOPROPHYLAXIS

💊Chloroquine / hydroxy chloroquine /chloroquine phosphate 🛫Chemoprophylaxis for international travelers going to endemic areas (and Aswan) 💊 The drug must be continued for 4-6 weeks after leaving endemic areas. 🔻In areas with chloroquine-resistant P. falciparum, mefloquine is recommended (5mg/kg/week) for adults, 1-2 week before travel, during stay and 4 weeks after leaving the endemic area.

2)MALARIA VACCINES

Examples on the promising malaria vaccine => A- RTS,S/AS01 Vaccine (Whole Sporozoite Vaccines for Africian children) ★Advantages: 1. Feasible to deliver. 2. Strong safety profile. 3. No negative impact on uptake of bed nets, other childhood vaccinations, or health seeking behavior for febrile illness. 4. High impact in real-life childhood vaccination settings: Significant reduction (30%) in deadly severe malaria, even when introduced in areas where insecticide-treated nets are widely used and there is good access to diagnosis and treatment. 5. Highly cost-effective: the vaccine is estimated to be cost effective in areas of moderate to high malaria transmission. B- PfSPZ Vaccine (WHOLE SPOROZOITE VACCINES) ★ Include • Whole sporozoites (the sexual form of the parasite extracted from the mosquito). ★Advantages • The PfSPZ Vaccine has proven to be safe and well tolerated (when used intravenously).

سلام عليكم عاملين اى يشباب يارب تكون اموركم تمام انا عارفه ان زمانكم مزنوقين دلوقتى. احب انوه ع كام حاجه.... اول حاجه الى مخلصش منهج يخلص ومش مهم يحل غير ف الجراحه والباطنه دول إلى بيجو بصمجه الفاميلى دايما بتجيب اسئله جديده الكوميو معرفش لان رئيسه القسم اتغيرت اقصد اقول المذاكره اهم من الحل. تانى حاجه الامتحان بيجى سهل جدا طبعا الفاميلى اهم حاجه تركز عليها هى ال Vaccination وال Screening test بتاع كل age group جدول التطعيمات مهمه جدا عشان ال mcq وممكن يسأل ال non compulsory vacciens التجارب الى ف الدرس دا اى كلام خالص. بالنسبه للكوميو ركزوا ع العناوين المهمه وعموما الدكتوره شكلها لطيفه اوى ف ابشروا. الباطنه بقا اهم حاجه ttt و c/p وأعتقد نزل تحديدات فيها وبصوا ع الاسئله بتاعت الامتحانات الى فاتت فيها د عزت بيجيب الاسئله سهله و واضحه اوى مفيش لف. متغلطش غلطتى وتتفزلك ع الاسئله طالما الامتحان ماشى سهل معاك يبقى الاسئله سهله متفكرش كتير ف السؤال الامتحان مش عايز تفكير زى الفسيو والباثو وكدا لا الامتحان هيكون مباشر اوى.. اخيرا ان تصل متأخرا خير من ان لا تصل والله بجد وصدقونى مش بكام مره راجعت ولا كام مره ذاكرت هى توفيق ونصيب ف ادعوا ربنا بالبركة والتيسير ورينا كريم اوى . بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم (واذا سألك عبادى عنى فان قريبٌ اجيب دعوة الداعِ اذا دعانِ فليستجيبوا لى وليؤمنوا بى لعلهم يرشدون) ثقوا بالله ياما مرينا باصعب من كدا وانتوا قدها وانا واثقه فيكوا وشدوا العزم كدا ورايا ابطال ف الملاعب عايزه مجاميع تفرح. بالتوفيق يشباب❤️
