Hey everyone, any iOS pros or bypass experts here? I need some technical advice/help. I dug up my old iPhone 8 from a drawer. It was totally fresh, but I forgot the lock screen PIN. I restored it via iTunes, which naturally triggered the iCloud Activation Lock screen, and I don't remember my old Apple ID password. Using free checkm8-based bypass tools, I managed to tether-bypass it. However, I’m stuck with a heavily sandboxed/broken activation state. Here is the current situation: 🟢 What's Working: Touch ID works perfectly. SIM USSD codes work (I can successfully dial *566# or interact with SIM Toolkit items). Signal bars/Data icons show up in the status bar, but it doesn't display the actual carrier name. 🔴 What's Broken: Cellular Capabilities: Total radio block. No actual carrier name, cannot make/receive voice calls or SMS. App Store: Running incredibly slow, laggy, and behaving weirdly. System Restriction: Can’t verify apps under Profiles & VPN Management. iCloud Services: Completely broken (as expected with a basic free bypass). The Problem: Every YouTube guide claiming "Free Fix for Signal/Cellular" turns out to be clickbait. Once you load up the tool, they demand a $30 to $50 registration fee to authorize the device's ECID/serial on their activation servers to handle the tickets properly. Since my primary phone is in bad condition right now, I really want to get this working as a daily driver without dropping $50 on an old device.
