Internet is said not to able to serve as a substitute to our conventional school course books. I do not agree with this opinion. On the one hand, some may not advocate the replacement of course books with their online versions due to several reasons. One primary reason is the disparity of Internet. Despite the fact that the humanity has never had so fast and available Internet in their history, still there are users without constant connection. As for its impact to the universally usage of Internet as course books, students ,who come from the above-mentioned group, may face inequality of learning opportunities. The next concerning point is that the Internet is full of non-educational contents. These may range from entertainment sites to social media platforms. The closer students are to these things, the more distractions they may have to focus on their studies. It can consequently result in poor academic performance. On the other hand, I think the Internet can serve instead of our conventionally used course books. One obvious argument can be a wider access of students to these papers. It means, educational organizations can enable all school children to use their course books without any physical barriers, including insufficiency books at the library and the schools’ work schedule. This, in turn, can positively impact on children’s academic performance, since the role of lesson books is pivotal. Interactive learning could be the second factor for the transformation of traditional course books into their e-version. As the involvement of Internet in our daily life is on the rise, majority of schoolers can take advantage of this well-spread tool during the lessons. This may include featuring the new generation of course books with interactive quizzes, online video sources, and games. The recent studies in the field of pedagogy can show how the Internet enhanced the proficiency of lessons in several countries, such as Finland and South Korea. The former country is well-known with the highest quality of education at primary schools all over the world. In conclusion, though the replacement of traditional school books into Internet may have a few drawbacks including the disproportion of educational chances and overabundant contents with no relevancy to education, I think this development can be supported concerning a far better access to all resources and the interactivity of lessons. 379 words time: 45-50 minutes #back
