#فسلجة_عملي During inhalation, oxygen (O2) is taken in through the lungs and diffuses into the bloodstream, where it binds to hemoglobin in red blood cells. Carbon dioxide (CO2), produced as a waste product of cellular metabolism, is transported in the blood primarily as bicarbonate ions and also bound to hemoglobin. The blood then carries oxygen to tissues throughout the body and returns CO2 to the lungs for exhalation. This exchange of gases between the bloodstream and body tissues is essential for cellular respiration and maintaining proper bodily functions. It can be classified basically : 1- Ventilation 2- Diffusion at the alveoli 3- Binding to hemoglobin 4- Systemic transport 5- Return to the lungs
