When you install unofficial applications like 8jj, you bypass standard app-store security protocols. The installation package grants background permissions that allow the operators to:
Silently extract personal photos, videos, and media directly from your device storage.
Harvest contacts, personal SMS messages, and two-factor authentication (2FA) codes.
Access camera and microphone streams without any notification indicator appearing on your screen.
Any personal media on your device can be scraped, stored on offshore servers, and exploited for extortion or leaked into public breach registries.
