| 7 | An Athenian Day in pictures for my Diary 📔
Staying in the Kolonaki area of Athens is always a delight, its chic atmosphere make it my favorite spot in the city.
After arriving from Corfu, we kicked off the day with a delightful girl lunch 🥙A secret family lunch spot, not very chic but so delicious.
Next, we headed to the Museum of Cycladic Art, my absolute favorite in Greece. I have such fond memories here. During my last visit, a high-magnitude earthquake caused some ancient vases to fall and break right in front of me. My initial reaction was to think it was a performance! This time, the museum featured a fascinating exhibition on the multiple roles of women in antiquity.
After exploring the museum, we did a little shopping at Diptyque and enjoyed an iced freddo espresso at Athenee, which gave me Parisian vibes.
Then, it was time for a dinner 🍽️ the highlight of the meal—the Greek salad. It tastes so much better in Greece, especially at our favorite seafood restaurant with a stunning view of the Acropolis.
Revisiting Athens always feels special. It's interesting to see how I change or how my feelings toward the city evolve each time. I wonder if should put together an itinerary for a weekend in Athens.🏛️👀 | 482 |
