I don't look often at EJ but since a student of mine trades it I had a look at it and it paid off

H1 Candle hasn't closed yet but if it closes like this we will likely see a drop

It all comes down to being able to process price action in real time.
Knowing your obstacles.
Understanding candle closures.
Understanding where liquidity has been taken and where the next liquidity pool is.
Lastly, SPEED.
You are trading a fast-paced, volatile market here. You need to know exactly where price could turn on you, where to take profits, or where to hedge your trade.

If you are in sells then the trade should be secured now. The way Gold pulled back into the bearish M30 EG wasn't ideal. It created an obstacle M15 EG

It’s actually funny how gold turned perfectly at my Quantum Liquidity Harmonic Reversal Matrix™ again.
Crazy, right?
Or maybe… just maybe… I’m simply reading price in real time, understanding liquidity, and my trading ranges.
But nah, that can’t be it. That would be too easy
Must be the magical lines.
If candlesticks look like hieroglyphs to you, then don’t worry.
They’re supposed to at the beginning.
You weren’t born being able to read the alphabet either. You had to learn it, repetition after repetition, over years.
Same thing here.
The road will be tricky and painful at first. You’ll be confused, you’ll get things wrong, you’ll question everything. That’s part of it. It gets easier with time if you stay consistent.
But don’t use that as an excuse to stay confused.
Sit down, study them, mark them up, replay charts, and start making sense of it.
Because the moment you understand what candles are actually telling you, everything changes.

This is exactly why we wait for continuation entries.
Price first traded into the bullish M5 FVG, then into the bearish M1 FVG. Once that happens, the rule is clear. Because gold tapped the bullish M5 FVG first, we need to see the newly formed M1 FVG hold and give confirmation.
No confirmation, no trade. Simple.
This isn’t complicated. It’s just logic.
The only problem is most traders don’t have the patience or discipline to actually follow it.
