In yesterday’s trading session we have seen that bulls failed to claim weekly pivot but today Price claiming the weekly pivot (2368: ), buying will be valid till daily pivot is safe (for today it is at 2361.60) and for sell wait for confirmation at daily R1 (2373.9) or re test at monthly R1(2380.80) , as price is under Previous week high so overall it will remain in bears favour (but bulls can make a move towards 2400 to grab liquidity)

Except for the last couple of years, ever since the secular bull market in the precious metals started, we saw significant rallies in August, especially in its final part. But as for July, it moved higher in the very first part of the month (which is indeed what we just saw), but then it declined in the following weeks only to rally once again close to the end of the month. So, it’s not the case that gold tends to be particularly strong in July – it did end most July’s on a positive note in the last two decades, but overall the gains were not significant (except for 2020, but 2020 was anything but normal in pretty much all ways), and they mostly happened early in the month and then in its final part. So, seasonal tendencies currently don’t suggest gold at even higher levels. gold just reached a combination of three resistance levels. Plus, gold closed above its late-June high for one day – the move has not been verified. Resistance levels tend to trigger reversals – that’s what “resistance” means. Of course, indications from the price can sometimes be misleading, which is why it’s good to look at volume as well and put it into context. Gold rallied on strong volume and when it did the same thing in the last four cases, those were local tops (including the May top), or their close proximity (the April top). So, gold touched not one, not two, but three resistance lines, and volume did what it used to do at local tops. Doesn’t sound bullish, does it?

Is gold going to bump its head on 2400 or high and turn back down again, or will it finally break through? Everyone now thinking about the same , see if gold going straightaway 2400+ from here ( From June Low) and moves towards ATH again in July or August then that will not be good for bulls from Long term perspective, I think to create a good bullish run that can sustain for longer period price need to see some more correction or price need to consolidate in big range(2277-2400 considering current cycle ) for long period of time (3-4 Months or more) . We are in choppy market right now and only those will survive who trade with money management and patience.
